Ted should be able to win his home state.
30% seems low. Didn’t he win 50%+ to win a U.S. Senate seat 2 years ago?
A TEXAS poll? As in, "likely primary voters" in TEXAS? And it shows little Jebbie at 8%?
Not buying it.
Not very impressive, compared to other Texas polls showing Cruz with gargantuan leads. But the racial breakdown is interesting. Trump has been asserting that he will bring blacks to vote Republican. But Cruz is actually getting twice as many black votes (in what I’m sure is a very small sample size) as Trump is. He’s getting more than twice as many “other” (mostly Asian, mixed race and Native American), and marginally more Hispanics.
In before the Trumpbots trash the polling firm.
Thank God! Maybe a little good news for Cruz supporters will allow them to tone back the nastiness a notch or two?
Texas is not winner take all, so a close race ends with them just splitting the delegates.
It will be a wash basically.
Florida is the key to the whole nomination. It’s winner take all, and the race will be over after it votes for Trump.
Well, it’s his home state so I would expect him to do well there. But even still, a 5-point lead is not exactly staggering.
The last Dixie Strategies Poll from Texas was Carson 23 Trump 22 Cruz 14 Bush 12 (October)
Well, TRUMP is at least dominating the “somewhat liberal” & “very liberal” categories.
BS!
The only thing Hillary is dominating is Huma.
So Cruz might win his home state? We’ll see...
Could be important if he intended to stay in the Senate.
I’m sitting here in Texas and can’t remember the last time the nominee wasn’t already decided before we even got a chance to vote.
Go Ted!
A sitting senator from Texas leads in Texas by 5 points?
Big whoop.
That lead will melt by the time of the Texas primary.
With Ted’s new 5 point plan to annex Canada into the Republic of TEXAS, He’ll win in a Landslide.
Ice Hockey-Learn to Love IT
Decimals usually = a junk poll.
The Texas primary is an eternity in political time.
