Sarah Palin Thursday lauded Donald Trump's decision to skip the Republican presidential debate in Des Moines, calling him a "game-changer" whose "victory on this issue proves we have a choice."

"Trump just spoke for the majority of us who are through with a prejudiced press and a political hierarchy expecting us to hit our knees at their command," the former Alaska governor and 2008 vice presidential candidate, said on Facebook. "Enough is enough."

Donald Trump called Sarah Palin a “wonderful woman”, “very smart”, and “very cunning”. He has known her for years.

I agree!

I guess she is trying to become relevant again by riding some one else’s coat tails.

I used to admire Sarah Palin ALOT, now less ... her statement in the image you posted is light on substance,

and frankly, could have been written by any DNC-GOP press secretary.

Donald Trump made a mistake skipping-out of the debate tonight, although I understand some of his reasons.

There was not ONE question that Donald Trump could not have fielded ...

Is Trump a coward ? NO.

Did Trump appear like an immature, spoiled Eddie Haskel ? Yes.

Otherwise, it was a great event ...

perhaps not the best in the series, but excellent in terms of concrete discussions between the candidates (even if you didn't agree with them).

The immigration discussion between Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio was FANTASTIC ... and Fox did everyone a favor by showing past video statements of each ...

In the end, Ted Cruz emphasized that Jeff Sessions credited Cruz with leading the fight to DEFEAT Marco Rubio's "Gang of Eight" bill ...

Interestingly, Jeb Bush sided 100-percent with Marco Rubio.

Makes Ted’s 1 million debate challenge look petty.

What a weird and rambling post. Looks like you watched the “debate” instead of Trump’s event for the Vets?

You of all people should know that, your candidate has done NOTHING in this election but ‘ride of Trump's coattails’ and now that Trump left him in the lurch he's gone on to Levin and Beck....real good impressions there one’s a ‘nut job’ and the other one ‘lies’ ...

Levin would NEVER had said that his ‘future son’ works in Cruz's campaign if he knew it was coming out...

Such a waste of time and effort for you poor Cruz supporter, all lies and smoking mirrors, but what do you expect from a ‘politician’????

Sarah Palin hits another out of the park.

Yes, I think she did. Palin is a far cannier political observer than many give her credit for. Something very interesting happened tonight that hasn't sunk in altogether yet with people more focused on policy: Trump has taken control of the narrative from the media. That's what actually happened tonight.

It hasn't sunk in yet because it hasn't happened in a very long time. Tucker Carlson, of all people, seems to recognize the phenomenon in his latest in Politico, of all places. Like a lot of crumbling empires, it is a surprise to the onlookers just how fragile that control turned out to be. I do not think it will be easily reestablished.

Yep, I watched the Fox debate. Enjoyed it immensely.

It was sad that apparently the Donald Trump National Campaign "ordered" their folks to NOT attend local TV viewing events (such as ours at Quaker Steak & Lube in St. Pete, Florida).

Kinda like mind-numbed robots, but I wouldn't go that far.

Megyn Kelly really went after Marco Rubio on the "Gang of Eight" bill.

It was great to watch. She was like a pit bull against Marco Rubio.

I've posted a lot of positive things at Free Republic about Donald Trump.

There wasn't ONE SINGLE question that he couldn't have fielded tonight.

He really screwed-up by not showing-up.

His presidential street cred has fallen a bit.

Just the facts.

On Monday we'll see how Iowans see it all.

Otherwise we are ALL just spittin' in the wind with endless bloviating.
