Romney (started to win and immediately pulled back and never even questioned his opponent’s terrible record in office, etc). And now for strike 3: a “brokered convention” to nominate a fellow who just hit One percent in the polls after spending what, fifty million dineros? Or someone else Nobody’s heard of? The R brand is deader than a dodo. Kaput. Death by suicide.
While there is a lot of back and forth regarding Trump and Cruz. I am of the opinion that Trump does have enough mojo to win in a general. he has a lot of cross-over potential. Whether you believe in that or not, let that lay aside for a moment.
If Trump has enough delegates but the party strips him of his delegates. The question is, is there enough time for Trump to mount a third party candidacy? Not asking if it would be viable or not at this time, just that calendar-wise would it be possible?
Unfortunately, I do not believe Cruz has general election appeal. If Trump is cheated out of delegates then there could be a massive sympathy vote.
So does the calendar work for Trump in this situation, or against him?
The Governor is Maggie Hassan who is marginally stronger on immigration than Kelly Amnesty Ayotte.
