The city trucks would come by when I was playing along the side of the street spraying for mosquito's. All I as a result after playing in the spray was some Stinky clothes.

I remember those and often wondered what chemical they were spraying. It seemed harmless. However, during the late 1970’s the City of Houston sprayed something apparently much more toxic around the campus of Rice University, presumably for mosquitos. Instead, there must have been at least hundreds of dead grackles laying around the campus, from what I saw. Yikes!
