I don’t know why States have caucuses. They seem like an environment begging for abuse. Why not have a primary instead?

and yes, Carson will drop out but he hasn't yet and telling voters that he had already tonight was completely untrue and dishonest.

You're the sleazy one, actually. All Cruz did was tweet a CNN headline. He never said "drop out", nor did the CNN headline. It said "take a break", and Cruz said "stop campaigning". Unless Carson is announcing that he is taking a break from his knitting, he is going to stop campaigning for a bit. Nobody.... Carson, CNN, or Cruz... ever said "drop out". That was left for the Trump smear team, like you.

Yeah, but Cruz people at some caucuses sites said he was ending his campaign and they made the mistake of saying that when Mrs. Carson was there!

A vote for Cruz is a vote for the establishment.

You cruzers should just cut out the middle man. Just vote for Rubio and get it over with. That’s essentially what your vote for Cruz will end up doing.

Exactly.

But they’ll have to see a few more primaries to get the message.

Cruz can’t go Bible thump in the north east. He won’t get any votes there.

Trump appealed to middle America. He ran for the first time and finished 2nd in an evangelical state.

It’s ironic that Trump expressed grace while the Cruz campaign exhibited the behavior the ardent Cruz supporters claim to hate about Trump.

Cruz is a snake. I can’t believe I actually use to like the guy.

I totally agree with you!
Cruz has no chance but he can siphon off enough votes from Trump to propel Rubio.
Rubio is the chosen one to be the loser in the general election.

"If ya can't party with the big boys, don't show up." -- Diceman

Meanwhile, over on the Party of the Single Party state side of the contest, Sanders was told that 90 precincts' ballots were missing -- gosh, how odd -- and that the coin flip to break ties was done six times, and Hillary won all six. Meanwhile O'Malley dropped out of the race, Jeb snarked his way out of Iowa, badmouthing the three top finishers, and Ben Carson complained about dirty tricks but had a respectable 9 percent finish. Trump's remarks were elevated and elevating, his wife and kids were there, and he doesn't have quit in him.

Did Cruz call Trump a nasty guy?

No, Cruz said Trump did not have the "Temperament" nor the "Judgement" to have his "finger on the button". He said that behind closed doors and when questioned about it he denied he said it. However his lie got busted because someone recorded his personal attack on Trump. That was first blood in the Cruz/Trump war.

Woohoo!! CRUZ WON!!

In the end the poles didn't matter. Trump's yuuuuuge rallies didn't matter.

Four months ago, Cruz was at 5% polling in IA. All the pundits and msm were ignoring Ted. He was not supposed to win in IA. Bwahahaha!

I find it a bit odd that you continue to say that Cruz is the origin of the Carson information. Again, CNN put out that little bulletin. Cruz was reacting to the CNN news.

Wow. You’re pretty excited for a guy whose candidate only got 28 percent of the vote. 72 percent don’t want your guy. :)

But congrats to Cruz. Impressive win in IA.

Dude.

Cruz sent out information from HIS account. I don’t care where he heard the lie... he repeated it.

He could have called Carson or had his people call the Carson campaign. In what? 20 seconds?

Instead, he repeated the lie using it to his advantage.

If I repeat a lie when I should know better am I not then a liar?

Your guy lied to win with dirty tricks against Dr. Carson who is a good man.

If that’s the way Cruz rolls, he’s headed for a fall.
