I don’t want to burst anybody’s bubble but I’m trying to remember Ronald Reagan sending out shaming letters. Lets try to stay in the bounds of reality here folks.
Cruz’ speech hit the epitome of creepiness. That interaction with his mother... just eeeewwww. Oozing smarm. One of the worst speeches ever. Almost sinful to compare to Reagan.
I used to hold Cruz as my #2 after Trump. Now my #2 is nobody. “Freedom” is just another word for “nothing left to lose”.
Rubio graciously gave Cruz an attaboy right after he thanked his family and before he wished Mr. Arkansas well.

Well they certainly are passionate about their TV Star.
Just wish they’d reel in the hyperbole just a wee bit.

as versus TV Star’s pristine non-derogatory anything goes tactics? Comparing tactics won’t win this argument.

Yeah, I didn’t much care for that either...but my wife ate it up, so go figure.

Iowa voted for Reagan in the general election, twice.
Trump's speeches at his "events" are longer, and he pretty much says nothing in them.
No distinction there since most states in the union also voted for Reagan twice.
Iowa also voted for Dukakis once (one of the few states), Clinton twice, Gore once and Obama twice. Overall, Iowa is a pretty liberal state. Tom Harkin for umpteen years.
A very useful electoral, Red/Blue map for 1972-2012.
