I support Cruz, are you calling me an idiot also, just for that reason?

“Cruz cannot be trusted.”

Cruz can be trusted to prosecute Hillary Clinton while Trump can’t because Hillary’s crimes will spill over onto her good friend Donald Trump.

Didn’t Trump change his party affiliation right before 9/11?

What did Trump know about the Clintons and when did he know it?

Levin on his 2/8/ broadcast replayed the audio and videos of that CNN broadcast.

He also reminded us of the vicious ad hominin (personal) garbagebombs Trump was throwing at Carson when it was announced Carson was leading un the polls during November. Including calling Carson a insane pedophile and replayed those audios and vids as well.

Where was the sanctimonious barrage of rightious behavior complaints about (like they re throwing at Cruz s alledged conduct now) from the Trumpkins then ?

To paraphrase Gus McCall, Scott Eckersley is a weak vessel to pour much faith into.

He was fired by the republican governor of Missouri who he then sued. His true colors came out as he switched parties and ran a losing campaign in a solid republican district trying to blame a report that his campaign was shutting down. He then went to Utah and was arrested.

If this is the smoking gun the Trump fanboys think proves their case they are in trouble.

I owe you no explanation for anything and I resent laughingly your suggestion that I follow you around. I notice it’s only men who suggest that their fellow freepers “follow them around.” Typical male conceit!

Your thread was pulled because it was filled with the usual Saran Palin bile that was occasioned by Sarah daring to deviate from the Cruz playbook. Now that we’ve seen Cruz in action, that evangelical hoaxer, I wonder what she saw to pull her support from him.

I might add, the thread was not pulled because of your posts, but likely over my response to being called a “weasel jackass”. I maybe should have been a bit more sedate in my response.

So now we expect no candidate to react to any news story before first launching their own investigation.

Well. There is a cult-like mentality that continues to operate around Sarah Palin. It’s lost a bit of its grip recently.

I didn't hear it anywhere else, and it put a whole new perspective on the matter. At least one of the commentators at CNN clearly suggested that Carson was dropping out, and the attacks on Ben Carson by Trump were brutal.

Am I the only one who thinks it is stupid to have a state that votes ‘rat in most elections with a very stupid and archaic caucus system be so important in choosing republican candidates? I wish the would make OK or some other solid red state the first one.

I still should not have been quite so vigorous in my response, but some things just flip a switch, then it’s off to the races.

States used to thought sovereign and nobody else’s business.

This year’s Iowa GOP caucus was a primary in all but name. It was a secret ballot that binds almost absolutely national convention votes. That means that Iowa has just replaced New Hampshire as the first real battle, which shouldn’t be allowed without other negotiations.

Until now, Iowa got to ‘go first’ because the results didn’t determine any delegate votes or bestow any other benefit on the winner.

Unfortunately, change requires bipartisan input from the national parties in DC as well as bipartisan cooperation in state legislatures.

The whole primary system needs to be overhauled. Get rid of caucuses (aka circuses). Get rid of open primaries. Have a lottery system to determine the order in which states hold their primaries.

Why in the world should Iowa and New Hampshire have so much power?

My state’s primary is on April 26. In every year that I can recall, the presidential nominee has been decided before I can vote, so effectively, I have NO vote at all.

Iowa is still a cluster fark. Look at the controvetsy in both parties this time. I do not think Iowa is capable of running an orderly process. They did not even know who won in 2012 until days later. I also am not good witn the idea of a state that usually votes ‘rat for president having so much weight in the republican primary process.

A one-party secret ballot with binding results seems like a primary to me.
