Wish Rush, Hannity, Levin or some other conservative pundit would broker a truce between Cruz and Trump. If we could rebuild this coalition , we could keep establishment Rubio or whoever else GOP(e) throws at us out.

Wishful thinking probably.

Trump has moved on, for today anyway.

When the wind flips his hair around, he’ll start slamming someone.

With due respect for the sentiment, they both want to win. Superbowls could be decided by flipping a coin, but both teams want to win. Trump has built his entire empire on being #1, and Cruz has had the ambition to run for President all his life. Neither one would be anyone’s #2, despite how cool people think that would be.

I don’t care about Trumps personality, his celebrity, or his ideology (or lack thereof), I just want to see a businessman in the White House for once. That’s something we’ve never seen in recent memory and we see the result. I also like having someone who isn’t spending Other Peoples Money to get there. No matter how pure of heart people think Cruz is, those dollars have strings attached, always have and always will.

Shut up, Rush. You’re tiresome.

I’d like to think he knocked it off because he reads un here on FR, and we told him how presidential he looks in his speech in Iowa after the voting.

The moment any poll says any candidate is closing the gap, then the lies and smears will be non stop. Did it to Carson, then Cruz. Trumps ego won’t allow debate on the issues because his lengthy record of LIEberalism sucks rocks.

Trump is a liberal Democrat hellbent on destroying the GOP’s chances of winning the White House and keeping Congress.

There should be no truce.
