One of the reasons for the Civil War was the converting the western territories into Federal Land. Lincoln wanted to own the land east of the Rockies and the Congress was for continuing the process of having the Federal Government role as a sales office of these lands. Lincoln tied it into the Emancipation Proclamation which was a State's Rights issue which said the Federal government owned the state and the state essentially had to obey any of those laws.

What?

You immediately blow up your own argument when you start out with evolution as a state religion.

I agree with the post sentiment but it be far more effective if it did not spell “government” in the rant form spelling of “gummit” ... it degrades a legitimate argument into that... just a rant..

I know from the rest of the writing the writer obviously knows how to spell “government” but used “gummit” as a mechanism to make a point ...but I think that it doesn’t work to the point that it distracts from the message that has merit and needs to be heard

..”gummit”.. is what a liberal would used to mock someone on right as ignorant

I am the last person that I every thought I’d critique someone on spelling

"What if everything is built on a fraud......?"

It is more cynical than that. Everything is an illusion. A projection of the collective ego. The only meaning any of it has is what we give it.

Possibly the reason for the state to own so much land is
because of the mineral rights to it. It would not do to have
individuals own and develop and profit from such ownership.

We are the collective, you WILL be assimilated!

Lincoln needed those states to pass the Emancipation Proclamation and made an agreement to bring them in if they would vote for the Proclamation.

Whaaaat?! It was a proclamation. There was no vote.

I just finished listening to Jon Rappoport and John B Wells talk on Caravan to Midnight, and Jon Rappoport said the logic is no longer taught in public schools and colleges and universities. What is taught is the proper attitude to take on any given issue. So recognizing that using logic to explain how the world works has its risks, here goes.

Kurt Goedel’s Incompleteness Proof for the mathematical systems described in Russell’s and Whitehead’s “Principia Mathematica”, shows, logically that we can not develop a complete scientific theory of the world from inside the world. This confirms several statements in the Bible about the limits of human minds.

All the scientific theories that can be formulated from observing our world are “differential theories”. They tell how things change under certain conditions, but not how things are under any condition. So we have equations such as, E=MC^2, E=IR, and F=MA.

In order for the world to be held together, the Creator of the Universe has to have set up and maintained boundary conditions for the world. The only way for us to find out what the boundary conditions of the world are, and how they work, is for the creator of the world to tell us, directly, what we need to know and to do.

If one compares the Holy Scriptures, in as close to the original languages that we have, to what has happened in human history, it is clear that Elohim has a Plan for the universe, that we, amazingly, are an important part of that plan, and that, while we have individual choice, YHWH’s Plan will be accomplished as He engraved it in the fabric of His Universe.

So when the Supreme Court started banning God and the Bible from the public square, they banned the only source of true “science” that is available. The thing that should be noted is that the Bible predicts that this will happen and the consequences are predicted to be among the ones Saturbray cites in this article.
