Amazing to me how any mature adult could consider Cruz a formidable general election candidate. Not a winning candidate, but just formidable.
I imagine it’s similar to the amazement I feel that anyone truly conservative, with two brain cells to rub together, believes word one of the logorrhea that’s been spewing out of The Donald’s pie hole.
Forming your opinions based on the opinions of NYT, Dems, GOPe, and Planned Parenthood is probably going to lead you away from putting confidence in the most conservative candidate in the race. Of course they are going to focus on likability with the caveat they get to decide who is likable. He could be the most congenial and charming guy in the world and he would be hated. Take Reagan for example.
