So, did Trump promise Christie the VP slot? Or a doughnut?

Sounds like a scene from the Godfather, “Why have you come to see me today?”

Christie definitely has his flaws, but he has been solidly pro 2A here in NJ. I am sure that all of the anti-2A bills he has vetoed will probably be revived by the dem-dominated nj legislature and rubber stamped by the next nj guv who will likely be democrat. I’ll take Christie as AG and Cruz on the Supreme Court.

Christie did veto some bad 2A bills, but he has not been an advocate for expanding 2A rights. Yes, I know, he had a Democrap legislature, but you have to raise the issue and you have to bring within the public conversation how ridiculously restrictive NJ gun laws are, starting with any form of carrying permits. The more visibility it gets, the more people may come around to pressing even Dems to stop blocking our rights.

As to the rest of your point, you didn’t have any problem with his PC stuff on affirmative action, color-coded political appointments, racial profiling and let’s not forget, his love-fest with Hussein.

5 supporters? Christie had 7.5% in NH (Cruz had 11.5%). That means Trump would have crushed the Canadian by 32% instead of just 25%.

Cristie, as governor, has been faced with elected Democrats in the state legislature. There’s only so much a Republican governor can do.

By the way, the Democrats spent millions of taxpayers’ dollars investigating the GW Bridge “scandal.” They came up with NOTHING! They tried their best. NOTHING!

Obviously, you’re not aware they do close lanes. Look here:
http://www.panynj.gov/alerts-advisories/advisories-george-washington-bridge.html

Besides, there are traffic jams on that bridge at any given time....especially “rush hour.” It has more traffic than any other bridge in the world. It’s not unusual for one hour traffic jams to occur. A few weeks ago, I heard the traffic report on the radio saying there was a 90 minute wait one day. There was no snow at the time either.

Fox reported this directly from Christie this morning

Been listening to Fox on Sirius all morning (from 6am up til now) while driving and Christi was on and the only words he said was that he was returning to NJ to regroup and see what his path forward was.

Nothing about getting out.

Put your fingers in your ears. Lot quieter that way. That is what I do when it gets overwhelming on the forum

Seems like a natural choice for him to endorse Trump. They’re both brash northeast moderates who don’t back down.

I am only giving what his future is. It has nothing to do with the merits of the case, perception not reality is all that is necessary for a Senate rejection. As for knowing about lane closings. As I sit and type three miles from the GWB, I think I know a little if not more about lane closings. By the way, no lanes were closed in the incident, what was closed was the entrance a few blocks west of Hudson Terrace. You know the spot, remember the sign for Babe’s Taxi that was there.

“It’s been proven, with voicemails, that Cruz purposely went after Carson’s delegates. “

I fail to see tte crime in going after Carson’s delegates. Isn’t Carson trying o do te same by refusing Ted’s apology? Isn’t that an unChristian attempt to drive Cruz into the dirt and keep him there, so Carson can pick up Cruz delegates?

“just like its been proven Cruz is nothing more than a typical politician.”

And that is why he is absolutely hated by the Beltway establishment, because he is a typical politician. Oh wait, that makes noooo sense at all, except in LaLa Land.

He’s not hated by the establishmet. He’s disliked, personally, by MANY both in the establishment and Conservative wings not because of his politics or ideals but because he is an easy guy to dislike.

Well Rubio is liked by te establishment. So in your mind he is the better man than Cruz. Now that’s logical! Vote for the pretty pony!
