President Barack Obama may have made a super cool touch down in Los Angeles on Thursday, but Californians were cursing his visit as his motorcade caused traffic that was even worse than usual. Making a rare appearance in sunglasses, Obama stepped off Air Force One in a pair of suave shades, and was ferried straight from the airport to the Warner Bros. studios, where Ellen DeGeneres's show is filmed. The two pre-recorded the interview in the afternoon, which will air on Friday. It is the first time a sitting president has appeared on the day-time talk show. As Obama geared up for his appearances, motorists in Los Angeles braced for traffic that was even worse than usual as several roads across L.A. County were shut down for the presidential visit.

When it first came to LA after it was elected they closed all streets within 6 blocks of its route for fear it would be assassinated. The White Hut got an earful about those shenanigans. Now at the end of a second term I guess it just does not care anymore.
Considering he is POTUS, she could have flown to see him. Cheaper, and disrupts less lives.
He’s in L.A. again? Might as well just set his office up nearby and stay there.

Two things that are of absolutely no concern to Obama.

The first time a sitting president has appeared on the daytime talk show. Big whoop! This is what passes for journalism. Every story has to be first something or biggest since. All it says is that George W. Bush didn’t appear on the show, since it started in 2003.
He is such a mack-daddy.
But then he would miss out on the fundraiser that we are paying to fly him to.
