I think Cruz is the closest in the field to being a Constitutionalist. I don't think he nominates a pro abortion or anti gun or anti private property condidate for the Supreme Court. That is what I care about. Whatever else he may or not believe or pretend to believe (caring about jesus, liking dogs, Ben Carson's feelings) is irrelevent to me.
Look, if you think Trump is the best person to protect the Constitution and your liberties then like I said, buy the snake oil.

The reality is that the GOP voting base is quickly coalescing around Donald Trump who they believe has the best chance in the general election and will be the best agent of change in the Whitehouse so he will be nominating the Scalia replacement. I have every confidence that Trump will nominate a constitutionalist.

Look I understand that its depressing when you realize your guy is just not going to make it. The GOP majority is coalescing around Trump for SC, NV, MI and the SEC. Take some time and get your head into the endgame which is getting Trump into the Whitehouse where he can nominate a worthly successor to Scalia.
