The Republicans need to get their talking points straight and just say that they are invoking the “Schumer rule:” No lame duck Supreme Court appointments unless it is a national emergency.

Nothing in the Constitution requires the Senate to act on a nomination. It's up to POTUS to gain their formal consent.
If true, then why don’t we have Robert Bork as a Supreme Court Justice.
The Mitch McConnell and the Senate Judiciary Committee can actually refuse to take the nomination to the floor of the Senate.
Bork was greatly feared by the libs. They worked overtime to get him squashed.

Anyone born an American citizen is eligible to be president. My two cousins were born in Saudi Arabia to their American parents. They were born American citizens and are eligible to be elected president. It is that simple.
