It is crap like this column that caused me to turn away from churches and never look back.
I have my faith in Christ, and I worship the Lord in my own way. God and I have a relationship, and we don't need anyone else to interpret that for us.
My deepest sympathy to my fellow Christians who have to take your walk with God under the watchful, judgmental eyes of some busybody like this church lady.

I believe the statement was intended to be satire.

“Message to Black Voters from a Concerned Person of Color”
What is the difference between this headline and the real one?
To: TontoKowalski
Yep. Ditto 100%.
I’m also shocked at all of Ted Cruz’s lying to and manipulation of voters. Not just spin, outright lying. It’s like he doesn’t even believe hell is real, the way he is behaving. He used to be my enthusiastic second choice. Now I’m reduced to “I’ll vote for him if I have to, I guess”.

I’d give her the benefit of the doubt. She probably wrote too fast and incorrectly. There aren’t a lot of people who think the act of baptism makes you saved.
To: MayflowerMadam
I don’t get this “born again” nonsense. I was baptized a Roman Catholic when I was a week old. I received my first communion when I was 9 years old and was confirmed two years later and yes Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior.

Look folks, if you donât vote for Cruz, then you hate Jesus and America.
That's not true. You just lack discernment.

If it was meant as satire my sincerest apology. But with the way Cruz supporters act here it would be hard to tell. Trump supporters are treated horribly by people who are not like Christians I have ever known.

Sorry but I do not support Cruz, I Love America and I am a Sothern Baptist and my wife and I attend church usually twice a week. Just because I do not support the same candidate as you if gives you no right to question anyone’s religion or love for this country. My family and I have given generations of sweat, blood and sacrifice for this country. I do,apnot appreciate anyone degrading my family and its present and past Love for country.

It is indeed meant as satire.
I don’t formally support any candidate at this time, but I DO get really, really tired of the Cruz supporters playing the “religion card” like the author of this article does.

All of Christendom is threatened by Islam. Our very EXISTENCE is threatened. We will sort out liturgical and canonical differences---but we can't do that if we have NO COUNTRY. And a country with no borders, a country dissolved and folded into the North American Union and the New World Order---if we are reduced to the level of third world countries, which is where we are headed with Globalists like Ted Cruz, with no jobs (they're all given to immigrants until they can all be moved offshore, which is the TPP plan)....We better beat back ISLAM and GLOBALISTS and THEN hopefully we can return to life as we knew it. Until Globalism and Islam are defeated and erased from the earth, we are in jeopardy of our identity, both religious and our nation, vanishing from the face of the earth.
We had the luxury once to argue over DENOMINATIONS. Now, that's the equivalent of choking on a gnat while getting run over by an elephant. Our enemies, Islam and Globalists, are equal opportunity destroyers regardless what denomination you belong to.

Brothers and sisters, I cannot understand why some of you are supporting the republican presidential candidate most unlike an evangelical. Because the most important issues facing us today (immigration, and allied national sovereignty issues) are the ones that this most unlike Evangelicals candidate is better on than everyone else.

Take it up with Christ. He said that one requires the ‘nonsense’ you mention in order to enter the kingdom of Heaven.
