I am Baptist. I admit, I dont go to church every Sunday. However, I am a constitutional conservative and that is why I support Cruz.

Is this Newt’s older sister? If so, perhaps she would comment on Newt’s applied religion.

Look folks, if you don’t vote for Cruz, then you hate Jesus and America.

There are other candidates with heartfelt Christian values. I think I have a pretty good idea of the content of their hearts. I don't even attempt to understand or judge the content of Mr. Trump's heart.
Sounds like Newt's sister has already pre-judged Trump.
She "thinks" she has a pretty good idea of the content of Donald Trump's heart.
In other words, she hasn't got a damn clue.

Trump is no more of a religious hypocrite than Ted Cruz.
And they're both hypocrites.

“One Sunday, I visited an evangelical church and knew I was finally home. Months later, I was baptized and truly born again!”
Gingrich says she’s “truly born again”, but she isn’t, unless she skipped mentioning the only thing that matters, i.e., accepting Christ as her Savior. Baptism does not make a person “born again”. It’s a profession to the world of a prior decision.
So I’m calling BS on this. She needs to get saved and then preach to us.

It is crap like this column that caused me to turn away from churches and never look back.
I have my faith in Christ, and I worship the Lord in my own way. God and I have a relationship, and we don't need anyone else to interpret that for us.
My deepest sympathy to my fellow Christians who have to take your walk with God under the watchful, judgmental eyes of some busybody like this church lady.

All of Christendom is threatened by Islam. Our very EXISTENCE is threatened. We will sort out liturgical and canonical differences---but we can't do that if we have NO COUNTRY. And a country with no borders, a country dissolved and folded into the North American Union and the New World Order---if we are reduced to the level of third world countries, which is where we are headed with Globalists like Ted Cruz, with no jobs (they're all given to immigrants until they can all be moved offshore, which is the TPP plan)....We better beat back ISLAM and GLOBALISTS and THEN hopefully we can return to life as we knew it. Until Globalism and Islam are defeated and erased from the earth, we are in jeopardy of our identity, both religious and our nation, vanishing from the face of the earth.
We had the luxury once to argue over DENOMINATIONS. Now, that's the equivalent of choking on a gnat while getting run over by an elephant. Our enemies, Islam and Globalists, are equal opportunity destroyers regardless what denomination you belong to.

Brothers and sisters, I cannot understand why some of you are supporting the republican presidential candidate most unlike an evangelical. Because the most important issues facing us today (immigration, and allied national sovereignty issues) are the ones that this most unlike Evangelicals candidate is better on than everyone else.

Why does she make a distinction between Christian values and Evangelical values? What values do Evangelicals have that other Christians lack?

Well being an evangelical Christian is fine but that’s not the criteria for selecting a good President. Evidenced by Ronaldus Maximum.

Why does this lady not support the ordained Baptist minister Huckabee?
Months later, I was baptized and truly born again! My life was positively changed forever. It made my life so much easier and better.
Prosperity Gospel - beware of these people. Jesus never promised believers a life on "easy street" and things would get better here on earth. We can expect persecution and hardship; we are aliens in this world.

I personally cannot keep up the the multitude of denominations... My big shocker was during the reign of the Clintons and Billy Graham... I think Berightback Obama was the first democrat president Billy Graham did not endorse.. Billy Graham did endorse Hillry Clinton..
Politics and religion makes for strange bedfellows... and Jesus is seldom the ‘leader’. Evangelicals stain their brand by attaching themselves to a serial liar. Christ warned about those that come in His name and He never sent them...
