Gingrich won South Carolina.

It’s an open primary. the Democrats will select our nominee.

But Democrats have a competitive race of their own. Can Democrats vote in the GOP primary and the Democrat primary, both of them? I see they are on different days.

The democrats have their own fight. I don’t see many crossovers in SC. That won’t happen until the crazy uncle is back in the old folks home eating his oatmeal with his World’s Fair spoon and telling the staff over and over again how he was almost President of the United States.

“Gingrich won South Carolina. The Democrats will select our nominee.”

The Democrats have a battle royale on their own hands; they’re not gonna cross over any more than the 3% who crossed over in New Hamphire.

BTW, did the Democrats select Newt? If so, why did the Democrats pick him?

"It’s an open primary. the Democrats will select our nominee."

The big, winner-take-all states later on the calendar are closed primaries.

It's possible to finish 4t5h or 5th in everything up until March 15th.

After that a candidate must WIN outright to get anything.

This election season doesn't even really start until then.

And the democrats influence is nearly nil. Probably less.
