Donald Trump on Saturday raised questions about Republican presidential challenger Ben Carson's faith with recent surveys showing the retired pediatric neurosurgeon leading among voters in Iowa and Wisconsin. (snip) The Washington Post reports. "And, look, I don't have to say it, I'm Presbyterian.
"Can you believe it? Nobody believes I'm Presbyterian," the billionaire developer added. "I'm Presbyterian. I'm Presbyterian.
"I'm Presbyterian. Boy, that's down the middle of the road folks, in all fairness," he said. "I mean, Seventh-day Adventist, I don't know about. I just don't know about."

So maybe Donald should not go ballistic when he thinks he is being questioned on HIS faith.
Ben’s time is up. Get out, push is coming to shove, you aren’t ready for the big league.
Trump is now a religious leader?
You’re holding Trump and the Pope to the same standards?
Why does the Pope have a wall around his Vatican City? To stop Muslim invaders.
I truly don’t know about seventh day adeventists either.
Why are you posting old news? Since when is Trump a religious leader like Trump said today? Get a grip.
“Donald Trump questioned Ben Carson’s Religion”
False.
I didn’t see any questions in that quote.
This is an example of questioning the validity of someone’s religion, not his faith to that religion.
I don’t disagree with you about Dr. Carson not doing so great.
But the point of this thread is that Donald goes bonkers when he thought the Pope was questioning his faith, when he did the same thing to Dr. Carson!
I was waiting for the punch line.
Didn’t find it.
AT least a Presbyterian believes in a locked front door or wall against evil.
So is saying you don’t know about a religion the same as questioning it? I didn’t get that out of he statement at all. I got, “I don’t know.” I don’t like to add words onto sentences that were not said, and cannot reasonably be implied.
Apples and oranges ... Trump said he didn’t know , versus the Pope making a proclamation ... you should be thoroughly embarrassed for trying to equate the two ..in fact this thread should be pulled
Was the Pope questioning the religion or was he questioning the individual’s faith?
Trump was questioning the religion, not Carson’s faith. The Pope was questioning Trump’s faith, not his Presbyterian religion.
Please don’t put words in my mouth; otherwise, you sound just as disingenuous as Trump.
Folks drinking the Trump kool-aid will be blind to Trump’s phony outrage WHEN TRUMP DID THE SAME THING HIMSELF.
Sounds more like he doesn’t know what a 7th day adventist is.
That’s a lot different than the pope flat out saying he isn’t a Christian for wanting to build a wall.
I want a wall too. Guess that means I’m not a Christian either. Right?
Guy 1: What religion are you?
Guy 2: I’m a Third Bardor Tulku Rinpoche.
Guy 1: Never heard of it.
Guy 2: WHY ARE YOU DENOUNCING ME?!?!?!
These thought patterns might be early warning symptoms of TDS.
Pope should stay out of American politics period. To criticize only 1 of our candidates regarding building a wall when most all of them have the same view is particularly partisan.
People Judean Front
I just cannot imagine your outrage over this. I mean you must be flabbergasted!
Trump has stuck his neck out about it the most, so maybe this is a backhanded salute to Trump.
