Donald Trump on Saturday raised questions about Republican presidential challenger Ben Carson's faith with recent surveys showing the retired pediatric neurosurgeon leading among voters in Iowa and Wisconsin. (snip) The Washington Post reports. "And, look, I don't have to say it, I'm Presbyterian.
"Can you believe it? Nobody believes I'm Presbyterian," the billionaire developer added. "I'm Presbyterian. I'm Presbyterian.
"I'm Presbyterian. Boy, that's down the middle of the road folks, in all fairness," he said. "I mean, Seventh-day Adventist, I don't know about. I just don't know about."

I’ve learned a long time ago that nobody is perfect.
But if we pick a principled person, we’re way ahead of the game. Even Reagan wasn’t perfect, and as a humble man, he would be the first to admit that.
But he was a principled man, and the country did really well.
amen to what you posted!!
Trump will win south Carolina on Saturday and Nevada on Tuesday. We both know it and should be trying as best we can to get this nation back on track.
Quite the contrary. I am not going to vote for a member of the political class that promises everything and delivers nothing. I am voting for a total outsider who is not beholden to donors and special interests. I am voting for someone who will put the interests of American workers and America first. It is time to do something new.
Vote for someone with a PROVEN record:
I am voting for someone with a proven record of success in the private sector. Trump is a winner who has built a world class, global business. He is not someone who has spent most of his adult working life feeding at the government trough.
Ted Cruz ran on conservative issues like building a fence on our border when he was elected, he has lived up to his promises in the Senate and he has run a consistently conservative campaign.
So where is the fence? Where is the repeal of Obamacare? Why did the latest Omnibus bill sail thru Congress giving Obama everything he wants until the end of his term and taking off the sequester caps? I am tired of words and a grandstanding gadfly who accomplishes nothing.
Cruz is also not temperamental and you donât ever have to wonder what he REALLY thinks about issues like abortion or health care. Perhaps even more importantly, Cruz has proven that heâs a fighter whoâs not scared to go toe-to-toe with anybody from the Republican establishment to Obama, to the mainstream media.
Follow the money. Cruz gets major donations from Goldman Sachs, the Club for Growth, and a billionaire hedge fund guy. Why did Cruz propose a 500% increase in H-1B visas. Cruz is an insider pretending to be an outsider. Why hasn't one of his fellow senators endorsed him?

Cruz is a first term senator with scant executive and management experience who has spent most of his working life in government. Senators make lousy Presidents for a reason. We see the results today in the WH with another first term senator who is also an ideologue.
Cruzâs consistent conservatism mixed with his willingness to fight is why heâs the ONLY CANDIDATE RUNNING who can absolutely be counted on to get rid of Obamaâs executive orders, kill Obamacare, defund Planned Parenthood and build a fence on the border. â
Can Cruz work with others? What has he accomplished in the Senate? In any event, I doubt he can win the nomination or win the general. His narrow appeal will limit his ability to draw voters from across the political spectrum. The Dems outnumber the Reps. Romney won the non-Hispanic white vote 59-39 and Independents and still lost by 5 million votes.
Tomorrow my family and I will be casting our votes for Trump in the SC primary. It is the first time in awhile that I won't have to hold my nose to vote for someone on the GOP ticket.

Trump is not a religious leader and Trump did not question Carson's faith either - so Newsmax's attempt to paint Trump a hypocrite using Trump's own words is a fail.
