I’m very glad he got to die in his ancient homeland.
Praise to the God of Abraham.

To me the final scene of Schindler’s List, the one which showed the actual “Schindler Jews” walking toward the camera, was just about the most powerful one of the film.

Fascism needs an enemy to keep peoples minds off of the real enemy in their own government.
Love and prayers.

“I live two lives, one is here and now and the other is what happened there,” Willenberg said. “It never leaves me. It stays in my head. It goes with me always.”
His two sisters were killed at Treblinka. He described his survival as “chance, sheer chance.”

According to our president’s faith Treblinka never happened.

There is a documentary on Netflix that interviews this man and several others that organized the escape from Treblinka. There is no way to imagine the horror they endured and the bravery exhibited by these men.

I think the author is confusing the uprising at the Sobibor concentration camp with Treblinka. That I know of there was no revolt at Treblinka.

Just as Eisenhower said that some day, some SOBs will try
to claim that the Holocaust never happened. That is why
he required the German residents to tour at least one of
the death camps. - My dad went in to one of them. He was
a combat veteran in Italy & Germany, also N. Africa during
WWII. Years ago, he stood in his front yard & got a far
away look in his eyes. He told me at that time that he had
seen dead bodies stacked ten feet high for a distance of
one-eighth of a mile (that was the distance up to the main
road from where he lived) & that was just the total for a
few days of Nazi killings in that one camp.) He said that
they had to kill a few guards at that one; but that many of
the Nazi guards had already left - not choosing to die
defending Hitler’s death camp.
