Ben Carson told supporters that he would not drop out of the 2016 presidential race despite a dismal performance, explaining that with their "enormous frontal lobes" people will begin to see that the country is heading in a dangerous direction.
"You're going to start to see a significant change in what is going on in our country," Carson said at a Republican primary watch party in Greenville, S.C. "The tide will begin change because the situation we are in is so serious."
With "enormous frontal lobes," the former neurosurgeon said, Americans need to realize that they are being easily manipulated.
"That's where you engage in rational thought processing. You don't need those big frontal lobes if all you're going to do is listen to the pundits. And have other people tell you what you're supposed to do. You know, you can train some other thing to do that."

Great another egotistical jerk playing the spoiler in an election. Just what the country needs, Dr. Carson.

At this point, Carson is steadily eroding the good will he built over a lifetime.

I wasn’t blessed with “enormous frontal lobes”, but even I can manage to see Carson is being paid by someone to siphon off votes from another candidate.

I don’t think his handlers plan to step away from the fundraising gravy train a minute before they have to.

I donât think his handlers plan to step away from the fundraising gravy train a minute before they have to. Well Jeb's fundraisers have now cut him off... which candidate will his donors purchase next? I think it is inconsistent conservatism to be complaining about what the one candidate is doing when the rest are hogging off the fundraising gravy train.

Jeb had the big donors. The Carson gang fleeces the little donors—and then gives Carson a few pennies of that to “campaign” on.

And I am not interested in finding out the cost to Jeb's owners per vote receive compared to the price of Carson's votes per donor... I am willing to guess there is no comparison.

Carson is a spoiler sophoning off votes from Cruz. He’s less popular than Jeb Bush at this point.

No, Donald Trump has taught us that you only need a fourth grade level speeches, “something great” healthcare plans, and “terrific” people. Oh, make America great again. Boy, the light is blinding!

I always thought Kasich was plan B out of those remaining. FWIW, I've been cyber-screaming that it made no sense to go after him instead of Rubio. Kasich started out in the HOR as a conservative, but he's completely gone over to the dark side...unless you're a deep pocket donor with a business that is kept well-fed.
Rubio can be mentored. He's seeing the US and the damage the lack of middle class jobs and the invasion are doing to the US. Kasich has been mentored already...by liberal elite globalists.

I think all the candidates are GOPe puppets in varying forms except Trump and Carson. Any time a candidate is own by mega packs they are no longer their own person. Kasich is a 'social justice' Republican and even appeals to one of my Obama loving in-laws.
Rubio is who ever writes his speeches there is nothing original. He is an Obama in the GOPe wings.
