Sorry. If Ted Cruz would feature repealing Article IV, Section 3, Clause 2 of the Constitution more prominently on his website, Trump supporters would be jumping ship in droves.

Yeah, I plan to vote tomorrow. Go Cruz! The only real conservative in this race.

We have to be great stewards of this land. This is magnificent land. And we have to be great stewards of this land

Look forward to the creation of the DORD: The Department of Redundancy Department.

“Is this the issue of our time? Nope.”

You are correct, not an over-arching issue of our time. However, it is reflective of his outlook toward the federal government, which he wants to remain growing and controlling.

Exactly. And by the way, don’t we already have one of those ‘on the job trainees’ in the WH? And look at what a disaster that’s turned out to be.

He doesn’t live in the western states, where the Feds have over half of the ground and are fencing it off from human presence or activity.

Again. I’m stunned how Trump supporters belittle Rubio and Kasich for being RINOs. Trump is a consistent liberal who isn’t conservative enough to be a RINO.

Trump's a builder. He knows that if the land isn't protected, contractors are going to do what contractors are going to do, with the help of pols they bought and paid for.

If the feds ran the land properly and fairly, would it be a problem?

I recall back when Romney became MA governor, he wanted to let contractors build a condo development on the state's highest peak! Thank God MA residents to some degree respect the environment.

Do you want CA to sell land to Mexico? Maybe to China?

Well, have you given any thought to how, if Trump wins the nomination, the Democrat leftists will promptly trot out a dozen or more former wives of Trump’s elitist friends that he bedded while married, as he bragged about in one of his own books? They will Hermain Cain Donald so fast his little orange head will spin. Count on it.

Article IV, Section 3, Clause 2 of the Constitution gives the fedgov the right to own land.

Article IV, Section 3, Clause 2 of the Constitution states: "The Congress shall have Power to dispose of and make all needful Rules and Regulations respecting the Territory or other Property belonging to the United States; and nothing in this Constitution shall be so construed as to Prejudice any Claims of the United States, or of any particular State." (Emphasis added.)

The FedGov is not the United States.

No, I don’t. I think ‘the ownership of federal lands’ issue has not exactly been on the hot plate of American politics.

Ranchers? Rednecks? Getting support from the eminent domain king? I don’t think so...the man is a hypocrite and an opportunist without any sense of morality or honor.

Didn’t make news here but the Scot redneck would not be budged and was given an award for his perseverance.

Trump had the homes within view of his “greatest golf course in the world” (lost money last 3 years) blocked with trees and piles of dirt. Now those who have lived there for 40 years cannot see the “preservation” dunes and ocean.

Susan, 59, has been penned in too - with a 10ft mound of earth with trees on top blocking her once-expansive view.

What does he do later? He sues the Scottish government when they want to put up windmills within view from the course because it would take away from the pleasure of the view from his course.

“He alleged in the judicial review that his own human rights had been breached, because the windfarm, which is funded by the European commission and supported by many local organisations which had also backed Trump’s golf resort, interfered with his “peaceful enjoyment of his property”.”

Trump supporters will see this as another brilliant statement.

Maybe, or perhaps thay will see it's so far down the list of priorities that it can wait until after we address immigration, economy, national security and trade. We could wait 10 years to deal with federal land and nothing would change.

I agree....Ranchers and Farmers and everyone who has a deal with the Feds.

The other issue is protecting owls, frogs, snail darters....to the tune of what comes down to as "confiscating" millions of acres and not a dime spent.

Kill the EPA...on day 1.
