I live in Pennsylvania.  The property taxes are quite high here.  Why can't we be like Massachusetts where they have a cap of 2.5% of assessed value?

One outrageous thing being done in thriving housing markets is the practice of raising every house in the block to a level created by sale(s) of fully renovated property with stainless steel appliances and granite counters. This is grossly unfair to the rest, and especially the elderly on fixed incomes who have made NO improvements.
