Obama looks back to first job as ice-cream scooper

By Jordan Fabian

President Obama on Thursday reminisced about his first job as an ice-cream scooper in Hawaii while rolling out a new initiative to promote summer jobs for young people.

Obama wrote on LinkedIn that scooping ice cream at a Honolulu Baskin-Robbins could be “brutal on the wrists,” but taught him life lessons he still uses today.

“My first summer job wasn’t exactly glamorous, but it taught me some valuable lessons,” the president wrote. “Responsibility. Hard work. Balancing a job with friends, family, and school.”

It’s too bad that he didn’t stick with it.

It would’ve been MUCH better to be remembered as “that nice man who sold us an ice cream when we visited Hawaii” instead
of “The guy who ruined the best country on earth”.

* He said he gave away ice cream free to his friends. *

He loves to give other people's things away to make himself look like a good guy.

Oddly enough, it just happens that his first job is the job he is most qualified to do.

I don't think he really wrote that book! I guess that's how Bill Ayers thought!

Well, if he gave it away for free to his friends it does
not appear so.
