Did you notice how many times Trump would be making a point and they would start shouting over his words? Anytime I see that, you have a big negative against you for your behavior. These clown, Rubio and Cruz, sure showed their maturity in that debate.

Overheard Mubio saying something like Trump and his (capitalism)( in so many words) have been sticking it to Americans.????
It’s more like him and all other politicians. You work for Donald and he pays you. The work for the government only to pay them.

The other four candidates looked so small next to Donald Trump last night. Cruz and Rubio came across as snarky kids from high school debate club and Kasich and Carson were basically auditioning to be Trump’s VP.

Kasich probably had the best night overall. He might go from 6 percent to 8 percent in the polls.

Trump was unflappabe and untouchable. He’s in general election mode now.

Cruz pretty much endorsed Rubio.

Now the Cruz people here are losin their minds! Lol!

They now have to actively talk up Rube or slink away in shame.

That is the big story coming out of this.

The debate was a mess. Much of what Trump said made no sense. But his basic message, both in words and in visuals and in an effortless denigration of his opponents delivered concisely the message that has brought him this far. He won hands down. It can't possibly be happening but it is happening.

Watching Cruz and Rubio try to up the other on who is more conservative was kind of funny. Why? Because this cycle it is about being for America. Period. And they don’t get it. Cruz sounds like he’s giving a speech and Rubio sounded rehearsed big time. Kasich reminded me of a nice guy has been and Carson looked like a Surgeon General. Trump - just needed to take the punches and walk away. And he did.

Was I watching the same debate?

I saw Trump get obliterated by both Cruz and Rubio...

The man’s pending case involving the fraud that is Trump U was brought up for the first time and he had various exchanges where he came across petty and infantile.

Trump was slaughtered last night.

Before I even think about checking the Trump box in November, I need to know that he will repeal Obamacare and outlaw the individual mandate that requires health insurance coverage and the fines (tax) associated with non-participation.

“Trump was slaughtered last night”

Just like he “imploded” in South Carolina?

Blepping Cruz supporters are so utterly clueless. They sit there are exaggerate EVERYTHING to such drama queen levels, and then the next day they wonder why 99.9% of reality does not agree with them.

“Much of what Trump said made no sense.”

I’d say he didn’t answer questions. It is inexcusable that the questioners, after Trump failed to answer their questions, didn’t simply re-ask the questions until they got answered.

fear not...the trumpeters here are delusional. Trump was shown to be the know nothing buffoon that he is. He was pressed repeatedly by both for details and for yes or no answers and all he could do was mumble the same phrases over and over. Don’t know which is more laughable..trump’s performance last night or the trumpeter circle-jerk going on here today.

Trump leads in the polls, no question there. Trump is preferred by many here at FR...Check. Trump won the debate last night? Trump looked and sounded only occasionally like a serious candidate. He mostly sounded petulant, abrasive and quite pedestrian. He attempts to look and sound strong and bold, but too often comes across as arrogant and petty.

Not what his followers want to hear, I know. But, he doesn’t have to convince his followers, does he?

Trump’s positions on 2nd Amendment, trade, Care for our Vets, illegal immigration & more are very well documented. He’s also stated numerous times what his planS are after getting rid of Obamacare. Last night Cruz & Rubio went full retard in hopes of saving their own failing campaigns.

I wasn’t surprised Rubio did this since he is losing in his home state by double digits & no one is buying what he is selling. I was surprised Cruz jumped down into the gutter but chuckle at his comment to CNN later that Rubio would make a better president than Trump. NEVER go full retard, Ted.

Funny money quote:

“Since Cruz is a bit shorter than Trump and Rubio is substantially shorter than Trump, the visual, with Trump in the center, often had the look of one of those old Bugs Bunny or Popeye cartoons where one tough guy is holding two runts at bay with outstretched arms to both sides.”

They’re runts - little chihuahuas nipping at the Big Man’s heels.
