Tripwire Alert - The RNC, GOPe, Marco Rubio, Chris Christie and Donald Trump (excellent read!)

That’s the bad news. Now for the good news.

Those power-brokers within the party apparatus just received the biggest fright of the race. Chris Christie endorsing Donald Trump is severely stunning not because of his clout and influence, but rather because he was inside the GOPe camp for YEARS.

Remember, Chris Christie was head of the Republican Governors Association. Christie was at the head of the table during the Romney pre-race decision-making in ’11 and into 2012.

Christie attended the secret Colorado Summit post citizens united, which was the basis for the first discussions on how to defeat the electorate after the 2010 mid-terms.

Governor Chris Christie has been at the heart of the RNC/GOPe apparatus, and the well thought of insider, within Bush/Romney world for well over six years. Christie attended and participated in some of the most sensitive discussions about with political party leadership, and the financiers therein, regarding all operational and organizational plans.

That is why his appearance today is so stunning – and also why it was such a closely guarded secret, it had to be.

christie trumpThe RNC/GOPe are now facing the looming probability that Chris Christie was a mole, an insurgent, the entire time.

Once upon a time, the RNC brought together a brain trust of GOPe party elders to figure out what had gone wrong. Obama had just throttled Romney, the party lost ground in the Senate, and voters just weren/t into the Old Christian White Man demographic. So the Big Tent of gays, abortionists, secularists, feminists, was resurrected.....and conservatives were herded onto an ice floe set adrift in the Arctic Ocean.

IMHO, the ignominious collapse of Jeb-You/re-Next drove a huge stake into the heart of the establishment GOPe. Forget erectile dysfunction. The fallout of being politically castrated is devastating to a Big Buck power broker.

The GOPe de-b***ing began when candidate Jeb said he didn’t need the Republican base .... and proceeded to carry on, business as usual, as his numbers sunk into oblivion.

Jeb telling a key bloc of Republican voters to take a hike is the consequence of the country club GOPe demeaning and dismissing conservatives as not being worthy of their elite party.

The entitled Jeb-You/re-Next took it as Gospel when he heard the Bush elders condescending attitude towards conservatives....people to whom the aristocratic Bush/s feel socially superior.

But the GOPe should know this: they will get no pity from conservatives for their woes.....and we aim to stick their noses in the mess they made every frickin’ chance we get.

HOLY HEDGE FUND! Jeb-You/re-Next spent over $125 million on his failed campaign? The GOPe power brokers must be choking on the chilled Cristal, Oestra caviar, and stuffed lobster in the country club Grill Room.

Yep, Trump is ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT. Now the GOPe finally knows how Trump was always a step ahead of him, but it’s too late for them.

Here’s my favorite quote of the campaign so far, it was in response to Trump bringing out Christie one day after not doing so well in the debate.

“Trump is the master of letting the air out of the tires of opponents whenever they get momentum or a good news cycle,” said Mark McKinnon (GOP insider)

Christie is not just ‘big and large’ in the menswear department.

I thought trump blew away Rubio and Cruz in the debate...trump won all the online polls....now he didn’t have a great debate

I do agree that trump has a masterful public relations. He is great about getting his message and dominating the news cycle

Well at minimum it makes them seem a lot more clever and diabolical than I’d ever have expected. Their whole roadmap argument makes sense and offers an explanation for 17 candidates in advancing the Jeb! strategy.

I won’t argue with you as I don’t watch the debates anyway. I just had a feeling from reading about it that he didn’t do as well as I would have liked.

In any case, the only news now is Christie. Time for the GOPe to try yet again to get some air to stay in their tires.

Good article which includes this important reminder:

“Trump Supporters Need To Come Into The Republican Party On Our Terms, Not Theirs.” - George Will

Time for the GOPe to die.

It may well be that the apparatus has taken a lurching left turn which has been too much even for the northeastern money men. That might be what we are looking at, at least that’s what I hope we are looking at, because that leaves us with a set of elites who aren’t completely batshit crazy.

Trump will be the captain of the ship. He will accumulate the best minds in America and will rebuild what has been lost for many many years. More than just King Obama 7 plus years.

And this captain will take no shi!. And I can assure those ignorant disbelievers that he will use all the advice of his cabinet. That is how he built the Trump empire, leadership and brilliant minds.

Only the ignorant and the self servicing like the special interest and the GOPe will suffer greatly, and they should.

Trump for President. Special note to Rush and Levin. Wake up!!!!

The RNC changed the rules so a canidate must win 8 states, now we know why so many ran. The deck was stacked to aid Bush.

Who benefits from crushing the GOP and leaving a political power vacuum?

What organization has the wherewithal to occupy that vacuum?

What’s the biggest power/money network that’s been building for the last 1/2 century or so?

Time to think a bit deeper maybe?

...with a realization that Christie was not who they thought him to be all along.

Christy has to be the most vindictive and self serving of the candidates that started the race. If they couldn't figure out who this guy was after he shunned a Republican candidate for governor because he was friends with the Democrat, and that spooning on the beach with Obama a week before the last presidential election, they truly are the "stupid party." I believe at some point we will start getting stories about how Christy felt slighted by the party in his presidential campaign.
