Remember when Barack Obama promised the world in 2008, only to leave some enthusiasts bereft after he failed to close Guantanamo, much less slow the rise of the oceans?
If we elect a President Donald Trump, you ain't seen nothing yet when it comes to disillusionment.
Imagine the fury among his supporters when their outsized hero is exposed as a huckster who cashes the check as soon as the car is off the lot.
The brash billionaire has sold I-can-fix-it-just-you-watch pledges to millions of voters enraged about a steady stream of hollow political promises. To them, Trump towers as the man who means what he says and who will finally, after a long line of empty suits, deliver.
Fully 43% of Republican voters see him as the candidate most likely to get things done in Washington -- more than double the number who have confidence in his next closest rival.....

Well we KNOW Cruz or Rubio will either get nothing done or sell us out. Trump at least has a good record of accomplishment and he’s promising good things. Plus it’s out of character for him not to deliver what he’s promised. Plus it would ruin smear his entire brand.
Better than the disillusionment I have had after three decades of voting for GOP hacks.

Epic disillusionment with both parties and the whole Federal Cluster F**k is why Trump is winning and will win the election in November.
If that disappointment comes, it will come later than if Hil or Bern is elected. Even a few days of extra, mistaken elation would be a plus.

Trump is win-win, If he gets in and does what he says he is golden and america will be great again.
If he gets in and betrays everyone who voted for him it will mean the quick death of the entire GOP party.
so i am not seeing any disadvantages at this point.

Decisions, decisions.
That is what I fear as well. What will Trump supporters say when Trump cuts a deal or writes an executive order they oppose? Trump is very comfortable changing his positions. If his supporters attempt to hold his feet to the fire, he will just insult them and call them names.
Josh Greenman is in serious need of a mental evaluation.
