The New Yawk Daily News?

They sell that left-wing, nut job rag in supermarkets here in Maine.

They had to lay off most of their staff and are taking in red ink like the Titanic took in water.

If they told me it was raining, I would go outside and look for myself.

If Trump DOESN’T win, I’m afraid sometime in 2017-18 a whole lot of people in here are going to be saying, “Man, we make a BIG mistake...”

For your education...

Simply compare to either first term Senator.

Epic disillusionment with both parties and the whole Federal Cluster F**k is why Trump is winning and will win the election in November.

And what are you going to feel if Trump joins the establishment? Isn't his "art of the deal" about making "deals"?

This is one of my worries about him.

By the way, do you have any convincing reasons I should vote for your guy?

How about Cruz's actual record of supporting and fighting for conservative principles vs. a very, very, very recent conversion to conservative talking points after a lifetime of supporting leftist principles?

I'm sure you could pick and choose one or two dishonest representations of a non-coservative position Cruz has taken. Tell me, though, that you honestly think Trump would be more likely to fight for conservative policies as president.

Couldn’t be any more epic disallusionment than giving the GOP a majority in the House — they keep squandering, AND a majority in the Senate — they, too, keep squandering.

Nobody is totally pleased pleased all the time no matter who we elect.

Just a fact called reality.

If he gets in and betrays everyone who voted for him it will mean the quick death of the entire GOP party.

so i am not seeing any disadvantages at this point.

That is an unfounded supposition. The GOP has been dying since George HW Bush, but it is still knocking around despite that.

If he doesn't enact conservative solutions, he will simply damage the party further, but won't necessarily put it out of our misery.

I think Trump will be another Schwarzenegger and flop in exactly the manner Schwarzenegger did. He will stock his administration with moderates and deal makers, and we will just compromise with more Nation-Killing left wing ideas.

Will his supporters then call for impeachment when he fails to deliver?

My biggest fear is that his (well meaning) supporters will regret “what could have been”. And they’ll have these regrets whether Hillary defeats Trump in November (THE worst possible outcome) or Trump gets into office and is completely different from his current supporters’ expectations.

I pray I’m wrong about this fear!

I suspect you will be proven right. That said, if Trump is the nominee (and it sure looks that way) I’ll vote for him. Better someone who does the right thing some of the time than Hillary who will do the wrong thing every time.

Maybe Trump won’t win.

Cruz definitely won’t win. He’s an awful candidate, I would note.

Rubio is literally slime.

Kasich is intolerable and annoying.

Carson obviously was not made to be a president.

So here we are.

It strikes me as odd that you so anti Trump when he is the most loyal military supporter of the bunch.

People aren’t noticing that Donald is gathering a very interested parade behind himself.

This augurs well, not poorly. It’s the parade that will keep Donald going, rather than Donald keeping the parade going.

I don’t like the term ‘establishment’ or ‘GOPe.’

I just call them GOP Inc,and professional conservatives in the media.

GOP Inc is now just in the business of getting elected, or getting cushy jobs so they can pay for their kids’ college bills.

Professional conservatives are in the business of selling conservative philosophy.

Neither are in the business of actually advancing conservative goals. And that’s a good thing, because they have consistently failed in that regard.

They have large, systemic problems, but Trump isn’t really one of them. Personally, I think conservatives have absolutely nothing to lose. Roll the dice.

My concern is keeping Hilary out of office. If Trump is elected, my expectations have been met. No disillusionment on my part.

I know I’m not getting a Reagan.
