And that’s from a pretty staid (dare I say ESTABLISHMENT) source.

Larry Kudlow would be a very intelligent choice!

How about Joe Arpaio for Attorney General?

There won’t be many other jobs to fill as most agencies will have been closed forever.

Obvious to anyone who has owned a business. We have a lot of FReepers who don’t know jack diddly about how business works. Not their fault, but it tarnishes their view of things quite a bit.

That’s the rub.
They want us all to buy the products they sell, but they don’t want to have to pay a higher living wage and the social security taxes and other taxes that go with bringing the work here.

Cuts in to their net profit, doncha know, and nobody likes to share.

In so many ways Trump is the Bull in the China Shop.

However, on the Econ side, He has Larry Kudlow, Art Laffer & Steve Forbes . Jeff Sessions is now part of what I think is the beginning of his Kitchen Cabinet. Chris Christie at press conferences? IMHO he is trying him out as Press Secretary. Energy / EPA? Sarah Palin.

IMHO?

He is going forward with a victorious mind set and envisioning and establishing potential relationships and executive staff that any Exec needs to run a top level organization.

He was rude and crude last night, I ran out of juice and went to sleep, and didn't see it all.

Today, on Fox Business Ford Motor Company has a wonk on speaking their peace about how it is not bad to have production etc in Mexico, as Trump is Stumping here in Michigan. IMHO I am rather disappointed that Ford prolly has carve outs / lobbyist deals that make their margins work in a market like Mexico. Which begs another question, should they be their at all?

If Ford is beginning to squeal, who else will and how far down the road of "globalization" have we been sold down?

Frankly I have had enough of being sold out without my permission...

“If you lower marginal tax rates on business, both large and small… if you roll back regulations, for example, let’s go to right-to-work laws, which would make us much more hospitable to investment… those are the things that would help America, and that’s what we should focus on,” he advised.

I agree.

These statements will be impossible for some people to accept. Some think corporations are the problem, and we can tax them endlessly without any adverse affect to ourselves. Others claim unions serve the working man and are the source of prosperity. A popular mistake at FR is that free trade is the problem.

Businessmen have some insights that others lack, but they too see only part of the picture. As with other people, they often tend towards simple solutions that benefit themselves (at least initially). The best approach is to learn economics, but avoid the Marxist economists. Marxism is so bent on “social justice” (stealing) that it corrupts everything it touches.

A tad dated (2010) but nothing much has changed.

China's multiple barriers to American products

[snip] "Tariffs
The Chinese government imposes high tariffs upon many American products. The report states:

China still maintains high duties on some products that compete with sensitive domestic industries. For example, the tariff on large motorcycles is 30 percent. Raisins face duties of 35 percent. (p. 60)

Selective Use of VAT
According to the report, China makes selective use of its Value-Added Tax to keep out American phosphate fertilizer: In 2001, China began exempting all phosphate fertilizers except diammonium phosphate (DAP) from the VAT. DAP, a product that the United States exports to China, competes with other phosphate fertilizers produced in China, particularly monoammonium phosphate. (p. 60) Procurement Directives
The report points out that China makes use of procurement directives to keep out American telecommunication equipment: There have been continuing reports of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) and China Telecom adopting policies to discourage the use of imported components or equipment. For example, MIIT has reportedly still not rescinded an internal circular issued in 1998 instructing telecommunications companies to buy components and equipment from domestic sources. (p. 60)

QIPs to Keep Out Agricultural Goods
The report points out that the Chinese government uses Quarantine Inspection Permits (QIPs) to keep out American agricultural products, causing costly delays while they sit on the docks:"

Larry Kudlow is a good man to have on your side. He understands the economy and describes it in basic terms.

Only Trump will build the wall that will stop the invasion of socialist illegals that will vote to to turn the USA away from the Constitution and toward Socialism/statism.

Vote for Cruz if you want immigrants to take your job. China and India have more than 3 billion people in just those 2 countries. Cruz wants to bring most of them here with TPA TPP (obamatrade) , trade in services and also many Muslims.

Here are 23,000 links that prove that TPA TPP or Obamatrade is a Trojan horse for unlimited 3rd world immigration into the USA

https://www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl#q=tpp+is+a+trojan+horse+for+unlimited+immigration

Funny that Canadian Harvard lawyer Cruz wrote an article in the Wall street journal full of lies pushing for passage of TPA

Here are 129,000 web pages that prove that.

https://www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl#q=cruz+wrote+article+promoting+tpa

Why would a Conservative write an article that pushes TPA which empowered Obama and took away U.S.sovereignty? 150 IQ Harvard lawyer is no conservative that’s why but a con man and an actor who thinks he is smart enough to fool everyone .

Cruz has fooled a lot of idiots but not me. Cruz Might be smart but he’s an evil genius and that’s why he can fool people and he’s laughing all the
way to the bank while he burns America and middle America and Americans. Cruz is raking in more than 100 million dollars in donations from rich globalist donors

Good for Trump!

When it becomes possible for industry to make money in the US, then industry will return.

High corporate taxes, arbitrary Government picking winners and losers, unlimited legal vulnerability, immense regulatory burdens, retroactive ‘gotcha’ laws and fly-trap legislature: these are all reasons why industry left.

But I see that the usual know-nothings on FR still insist that coporations committed ‘treason’ by offshoring their factories.

Wrong. They were pushed out by increasing Government. It became impossible for them to create wealth, so they left.

Why do some FReepers persist in believing that these corporation’s shareholders owe them a damn thing?
