Something stinks about it, too. If Trump defrauded people, why didn’t the AG file criminal charges?
Actually Trump University had a D- rating with the New York Better Business Bureau. In 2011 the name was changed from Trump University to Trump Entrepreneurial Initiative. At that point the past history was lost and the “school” started out with an A rating from the New York BBB. According to the BBB website the organization is no longer in business.
One if you want it. Lots of info - documents and articles - on the site.
If 98% were satisfied, why didn’t Trump just refund the fees of the 2% who weren’t?
It’s not like he needs the money. Or maybe he’s not as well off as he tells us?
I can’t wait for your next post, proving that 2+ 2 = 5.
My understanding is that the ratings were given early in the program BEFORE they felt defrauded by the outcome.
I have to admit, this issue is one that doesn’t really bother me. I’m a Cruz supporter.
What it looks like to me is that the “University” was pretty much a scam when it started and it got caught. (BBB rating from this period was a D-)
Then they changed their name and cleaned up their act. (BBB rating A)
Because he's a RAT, and that's what RATs do?
“Trump University has a 98 % approval rating”
And raw sewage is 99.1 percent pure water.
Donald Trumps Defense of University Relies on Shaky Math
Now how could 25% of students ask for a refund, and still give a 98% excellence rating.
The more apparent inconsistency is that Covaisseeking to demonstrate that Trump University had an accommodating refund policydeclared that the company had issued 2,144 refunds to 6,698 attendees of the $1,495 three-day program, or 32%. That a third of the customers demanded refunds is hard to reconcile with a claimed 98% satisfaction rate, especially since the mass of plaintiffs now suing claimed that they, too, wanted refunds but were, they claimed, told they could not get them because they did not ask for them within 72 hours of the first day of participating in a program. Similarly, the refund rate for the $34,995 program, which according to the lawsuits was tougher on giving money back, was 16%. If at least 31% of one group and 16% of the other were so instantly dissatisfied that they immediately demanded refunds, how could 98% have been satisfied?
Grape Koo-laid drinking Dems don’t like Trump.
Because he’s a DEM.
Because he’s a DEM.
This is a complete non-issue. It was a legit business selling a legit product. Some people liked it and got value from it, some didn’t. Some applied for refunds, some didn’t. It’s a ridiculous standard. It’s like saying that Quaker Oats defrauded people because they bought Cap’n Crunch and didn’t like it.
