Absolutely Brokered has been denounced by Cruz!! Should be... and he said so. THAT is part of the establishment.
Contested is different and I would think that would make sense IF a candidate doesn’t come up with the required votes.
I agree with CRUZ on both counts.. NO to brokered, YES to contested IF not enough votes are there for a candidate....

Regardless of the Republican nominee, I am starting to think that the Dems are in big, big trouble. Someone has pulled the curtain open, and people are looking at that woman behind the curtain - Hillary Clinton - under threat of indictment.
Well, the problem is much worse for Cruz, because with each little movement forward, the pool from which to draw remaining delegates shrinks. He now needs 65% of the remaining vote-—but you’re looking at places where he won’t even come in third, like NY, RI, IL, CT.
I got one this morning from a Cruz pac asking me to donate to stop Trump. They got a loud email reply, doubt they’ll even read it (i know they never answer to phone at the many Cruz headquarters). They are only interested in counting $$, not reading the content of what Americans are saying.
A freaking loon now.
Keep voting for the candidate you think is best, but recognize that the base of the party has been told that Trump lies all the time, and they’ve chosen to believe the lies. Building a wall will be easy. Trade tariffs will restore prosperity. He would never lie to me. I’m going to pick the right card in three-card monte.

Yes, I completely understand, and was not insinuating that Cruz was for a brokered convention. I’m looking forward to Rush discussing “Contested Conventions” specifically. I think much of our media uses these two terms interchangeably.

Has Krauthammer byte on right now talking about Rush comparing himself to Abe Lincoln. Rush is saying the pundits don’t get it how Trump is running his “reality” show. Not sure if Rush is agreeing with pundits yet. Wait, he’s making a point— Now he’s talking about George W honoring the office of the president. That’s why George W did not hit back. (still not sure where Rush is going to connect this to Trump)
I’ve had a long time wish to witness a contested convention. This year, on the GOP side, I would pass on that wish. Even though, in the long run, it could be good for the party, people seem to get much more bitter about things like that now, and that would lead to President Biden. I think we are going to see a brokered convention for the Dims. I think Obama is spiteful enough to allow Hillary to get indicted just before the convention.
