North Korea fired two ballistic missiles Thursday morning, a South Korean military official said, in the latest controversial move amid U.S.-South Korean military drills that have angered the rogue state.
The two missiles flew about 310 miles at about 5:20 a.m. (3:20 p.m. Wednesday ET) and were fired from North Korea's northern shore, the military official said. Analysts said they were Scud-type missiles.
The apparent launch comes after heated rhetoric from North Korea in recent days that has included threats of a preemptive nuclear strike.

Yep....he’s following the same steps as his father did in order to retain control of his people. I’m not so sure the younger generations in N. Korea are going to follow this dictator as they did his father....they are far more informed even if fearful of speaking out.
If an attempt was taken on N. Korea to take out this thug and those with him I tend to think the younger generation would be quick to go along with any effort to take this regime out.
.....”Japan is extremely unnerved at present by the rather uncalled for and endless Japan Bashing and other simplistic geopolitical vitriol on the part of candidate and would-be nominee Donald Trump. Its nice to wish away Kim Jong Un, but its another thing to devise a solid strategy and plan to do it with all our key allies on board. Trump is spreading way too much ill will, disharmony and trepidation out here for no damned good reason. Many wish he would stop playing fast and loose with serious things.”.......
There are many of our allies very concerned about Trump and rightfully so...... But I do wonder if S. Koreans really want N. Korea opened up ....the younger generation often speak of not wanting N. Koreans to flood over their border. Unlike the older generations they have little to do with the prior history of the oldsters. It’s as though too much time has passed when there would have been a better and welcomed outcome, where today S. Koreans are very much a part of the Western lifestyle.
Before I had to retire, I spent years, both in the military and as a civilian associating and working with major S. Korean businesses and government officials. Never once did I ever see what you are stating on this thread. If what you state is true, then it must have begun since the Obama administration. When people go out of their way to show respect for you, that is one of the greatest rewards one can behold from another. Happened countless times to me, from South Korean people. But, there are a few that want a re-unification with the North, which will never work. Governments and culture are like U.S. and Islam’s Sharia Law. Semper Fi
True enough.
This still was was taken from the film: “Duck Soup”, 1933 while the song is from “A day at the Races”, 1937.
On at least 2 occasions, my Korean War vet husband was thanked profusely by Korean store owners he was talking with for his service. East Coast city.
you BROKE MY HEART Netz
cause you’re right
but some of those countries are real threats.
can NK even reach us?
we cant shoot a handful of sloppy missiles out of the sky OR on the ground before launch in 2016?
I agree. Let me ask you, as someone who is literally in the line of fire is there anything to Trump’s “plan” (if you can call it that) to pressure China to do something about NK? What’s their present feeling on the matter? It seems the Russians have just about had enough.
they can stick one on a container ship. or put one in a commercial airliner or fake one made to ident as the real one.
We’ve had enough “apology tours” for one decade, the Japanese are no longer at the kiddie table, they can deal with any perceived slight without the President-elect of the United States publicly groveling.
Time to take this tard out
Indeed it’s half-past a monkey’s ass and a quarter to this low hang’n tard. If nothing else, he’s bad for the business of otherwise quiet & provincial despots.
We need to tell China to get the fat kid with the bad haircut back on leash lest there be a dreadful accident.
...and he and Loretta Lynch (really ironic name, there) are discussing prosecuting “climate deniers” SMH.
Sorry Cruziers and Mariobots, this is going to put The Donald over the top.
“HIS EXCELLENCY’S CAR!”
>>And yet, I can personally assure you Japan is extremely unnerved at present
Good! We’re broke. 25% of our workforce is idle. They helped to bring us down. They should be unnerved. We are certainly unnerved.
we spend 600 BILLION a YEAR!!!
on what, microwaves?
we MUST have an incredible missile defense system.
but then, I thought my Towers were protected by secret missile launchers and batteries :(
Trump uses foul language. Nothing to see here. Yes this our priorities in action.
