She hasn’t been punished nearly enough. People have been raped and murdered for her feel-good idiocy, and her face needs to be rubbed in it.

Just think of how much better off the world would be today if we had simply kept the territory at the end of WW2. This silliness would have completely avoided. About now we would be debating whether the various American territories in the former Germany would be admitted to statehood.
Instead we’re watching Germany commit suicide. And yet again, we’ll be asked to pull their bacon out of the fire. I’m heartily sick of spending American lives in Germany for nothing.
20th Century Americans had already had a bellyfull of conquest and domination in the 19th Century. America had the only bomb for several years, and didn’t blackmail the world into submission. America had vast expanses of other people’s territories, and thought nothing of choosing liberty over empire. No wonder leftists hate America.
Empire and liberty are not mutually exclusive. We chose liberty for ourselves but leave others to perish in our zeal to wash our hands of the territories we’ve gained. A great example is Cuba. How many cubans have perished in castros gulags because we failed to retain the territory that we had fought for in the Spanish American war?
No, instead we handed the territory over to a bunch of crooks and incompetents who had no experience in running a free country or a comstitutional republic. And ended up with bloodshed. And we play this same tune again, and again, and again. Most recently in Iraq.

It certainly is. That's what happens when a culture loses its soul. Today Europe has no purpose for even existing, except for the atomization of the populace based on the diffusion of ever-expanding rosters of individual "rights."
The rulers have no interest in defining themselves as nations, much less religious affiliations. There is no core identity left, after about 50 years of mind numbing leftist indoctrination.
The CDU has been the traditional center right party (a la GOPe). SPD has been the center left party. The Greens are essentially the Obama Administration and the AfD is the new right party opposed to refugees, the EU bail outs and the tax burden.
They are running out of someone else’s money. We are next.

I certainly hope this carries over to the national election. If Merkel is not stopped soon, Germany in any recognizable form will cease to exist.
