Violence broke out over the weekend at several Donald Trump campaign rallies. Leftwing thugs battled with police in Chicago and St. Louis.
One unhinged lunatic tried to storm the stage at a rally in Dayton, Ohio. He was stopped by Secret Service agents. Heaven only knows what he would’ve done had he gotten a hold of Mr. Trump.
To be clear – what happened over the weekend was not just an attack on Mr. Trump. It was an attack on the First Amendment.
But instead of condemning the professional hooligans -- the political chattering class condemned Mr. Trump.
A despondent Senator Marco Rubio went so far as to liken Mr. Trump to a third world strong man.
He’s come under fierce attack for suggesting that his supporters physically manhandle protesters. In February he told an audience that he wanted to punch one of the protesters in the face.
That sort of language has no place in any political campaign.
But that’s not what brought about the weekend violence.
The person responsible for fomenting political unrest and creating this toxic environment is not Donald Trump -- it's President Obama.

Rush said today that Cruz was 100% correct in his response to the events at the Trump rallies.
Rush also failed to mention the false story about the attack on the reporter by Trumps campaign manager that he wailed about forever on Friday. But today he didn’t even mention it. My guess he will remember it on Wednesday after the voting on Tuesday or late tomorrow in the 3rd hour of his show.
This whole ”Trump Violence” thing is revealing itself for another effort by the left, DNC, MSM, and even the GOPe to try and bring Trump down.
Today we now have a guy accusing a Trump supporter (that has not been identified yet) of attacking him and a friend on the street. The Washington Post is carrying the story.
The guy’s story sure does hit all of the left/DNC talking points.
According to him, his attacker yelled that Trump will:
...take our country back from the brown skin guys.
...will make America great again.
...will throw the brown skins over the wall (Hispanics and Muslims) .
Therefore, the attacker was willing to beat the living you know what out of this guy and his friend while shouting Trump, Trump, Trump.
Doesn’t that all sound a little too staged?
It does to me.
Here’s something we do know.
The guy (and we have the video of him doing it, and we know his name and background) who tried to vault onto the stage to get at Trump in Dayton was:
...violating Federal law when he tried to break through the secret service to get at Trump.
...messaged on social media just before doing so that he was going to be a Martyr.
...had also messaged positive things in the past about ISIS.
...praised Black Lives Matter.
So, why is that guy giving interviews on MSNBC or CNN?
What is that guy not in jail?
IMHO, what we have here is an engineered attempt to :
1) Incite violence at Trump rallies and blame it on trump.
2) Use the political cover and support of the MSM, the DNC, and the Obama administration in doing so.
3) Abjectly and openly influence the election process in the United States.
That’s what is going on here...and it is happening right before our eyes.
It is orchestrated, it is organized, and it is funded.

I haven’t listened to him in many years and plan to keep it that way.
It goes well beyond Obama. The left has been trying to shut down opposition speech for decades. Just ask any conservative who has tried to speak on a college campus.
I listened today to hear if he hammered Cruz for what he said and someone posted what Rush said Friday. He said nothing, Rush is in the tank with the GOPe, him and Levin.
Shortly after anybody becomes a viable candidate for almost any office, you can forget about hearing any unbiased statements about them. The media and even your friends are trying to persuade you that candidate A is evil and will par boil babies while candidate B will solve debt, war, and aging. Elect candidate B and we will all have thick hair and permanent erections!
I was for Cruz before he sided with the leftists.
Our political leadership is evil, pure evil from the top down to the bottom.
I noticed quite a few former Cruz supporters here saying the same thing.
I have not seen anything like it before.
