PS...our county happens to be fairly conservative...and I have been a state delegate before...you get elected by other precinct committee people in your county.
Well you’re analogy’s certainly apropos: the GOP DOES tend to bend-over-and-take-it...99% of the time (not sure they need a ‘leader’ there).
Course, inspiring and/or smart would give the idea to the People that they should be held to those ideals/plans/etc. instead of the empty suit, Party-first, I’m-just-here-until-the-lobby-job/for-a-pay-check....are.

The world is being told by Trump that we are not taking the shot end of the stick on everything anymore and that scares the world. We rise, others fall a bit.

It would be nice to see the WH run like a business where the goals are to stop running deficits, have a real budget, cleanup the federal register and tax code, and stop spending on dumb stuff like fighting shrimps (no lie).
I would love to see the EPA and department of education go away entirely at the federal level.
Any legislation Congress passes needs a Constitutionality statement and a statement that it doesn’t kill jobs in the USA, else it gets vetoed.
Also need a national law that required good identification to vote.
They should also every other year verify the status of those who vote by mail.
Get rid of the fraud.
I think the two party system will be history. America becomes a single party communist state. Then the whole world will have a huge, huge undocumented illegal American immigrant problem in years to come.
