Sophia's lifelike skin is made from patented silicon and she can emulate more than 62 facial expressions. Cameras inside her "eyes," combined with computer algorithms, enable her to "see," follow faces and appear to make eye contact and recognize individuals.

Is there any truth to stories that these female robots are like human females in every possible way you can imagine??? I know it sounds unbelievable but I’ve heard some have developed robots which have realistic feeling body parts which real women have. If they mass produce these will dating habits change?????

Her facial expressions changed so frequently and so abruptly, I was put off by it. Not very natural. But, they are getting close.
I think computers and cell phones have already greatly altered traditional dating - if feminism hadn’t almost destroyed it before.

My wife and I saw the movie “A.I.” recently— her first time.
(We are childless, medically speaking. Adoption is a costly luxury — as much as a decent used car, which would take priority if we had that degree of resources.)
At one point — early on, not even one of the several cripted tear-jerk moments — she burst into tear and clung to me, saying “If only it was true!”
Holding her, tears in my own eyes, I silently agreed.
Call us weird. We already know *that* is true.
