Who can stop Trump? Republicans may have little choice but to vote Clinton [ROFLMAO]
The Guardian ^ | 3/18/16 | Dan Roberts

Just a few steps from the White House, the latest secret gathering of Republicans seeking an answer to the question of who can still stop Donald Trump reached a demoralising answer for their party on Thursday night: Hillary Clinton.

A bleak mood has swept over the Grand Old Party in the past 24 hours as the multiple implications of Trump’s latest victory in primary elections on Tuesday have slowly sunk in.

The first realisation came quickly, as Marco Rubio’s chastening defeat in his home state of Florida forced him to join Jeb Bush, Rand Paul and Chris Christie on the heap of discarded alternatives.

These once-promising candidates were meant to provide the answer to a problem that has dogged the party for a decade – how to appeal to a US electorate that is growing less white and less traditionally conservative.

Globalists who hate the US should all join the Dem party where they belong.

I VASTLY prefer Cruz. But would ignore the gag reflex and vote Trump without hesitation before voting for any dim candidate.

And one more time GOP, as I have for years, I will continue to send my contributions directly to the candidates and throw endless mail solicitations in the trash. And the only reason I answer the phone in an election year is to talk to a pollster.

They still don’t comprehend how p!ssed off they have made us. Or they’re whistling past the graveyard.

No matter who it is you genuinely support. No matter your principles or your beliefs, the obvious and logical decision is to vote for whomever the opponent of Hildabeast is.

Abstaining or willfully throwing the election to the dhimmies and Hildabeast will not usher in the Apocalypse. It will, however, further weaken the nation and further divide us all and make a weakened nation ripe for takeover by our enemies. Doing anything to enhance the prospect of the criminal Clinton enterprise taking power is simply treason and aiding and abetting the enemies of our Constitution and our Republic.

the power of the wallet

The donor class is leaning on the GOPe and media pretty hard right now to get rid of Trump - and they can be ruthless. Either you produce for them or they cut off the dollars which make life so good in WDC - or worse.

Why? Why MUST Trump be stopped?! Maybe if someone could make a sane, reasoned, believable case, maybe they could stop him.

So far, I haven't heard anything close, from anyone. I've heard fear-mongering, demogougery, slander, but I haven't heard a single solid argument as to how or why he would be as bad as, much less worse than, Obola, Shrillary, or Bernie.

And that's about as reasoned and sensible as any other argument I've heard...

Which is to say, it isn't.

Several of the diehard Trumpets here refused to vote for McCain and Romney. They espoused staying home to all and bragged that they did just that after the election results came in. They were proud they helped defeat the non-Conservative “RINOS”. They were “pure” and would never vote for someone that was not a true Conservative. These same purists jumped on the Trump train immediately. Trump, the most impure candidate we have seen yet run on the R ticket.

Their excuse before was that they’d rather a D be elected and have the Libs responsible for the destruction than an R. Let the Ds take the fall in 2008 and then again in 2012.

Now the shoe is on the other foot. Trump is every bit as liberal as Hillary, if not more. Why not let the destruction fall to a D again as opposed to an R? Some RS don’t want the total destruction of America to occur under their watch.

As for those freepers mentioned above, I wonder if they weren’t really Ds conning the weak-minded into staying home. Now they’re conning them to support Trump to get a D elected again.

Or maybe they were/are the weak-minded. Just as the GOP. Regardless, we get the same results. Another D elected and our country falls further into decline.

My bet is that this won’t be the first time that some of these GOPe hacks have voted for the Democrat.

I’ve long suspected that many of them voted for Obama in 2008, they couldn’t resist self-righteously voting for the first black President.

Rather than STOP TRUMP, it seems that the goal should be to STOP HILLARY. These establishment republicans sicken me as they slice Trump knowing full well that the alternative is Hillary!!!!

Here's hoping Cruz realizes this before it's too late as he plays the spoiler to our demise....
