You don’t need to be a genius to get elected to political office in certain parts of the country.

But to understand Bernie you have to first understand Vermont.You may,or may not,be aware that Vermont was once a rather conservative state.But starting in the late 60's/early 70's a movement began among burned out hippies...particularly those in the Northeast.That movement was to take over a state and Vermont,a state small enough that they could,was the target.And over time,they succeeded.Today there are several things that you can safely say about the "typical" Vermont voter...

1) That he/she/it wears Birkenstocks...with socks

2) That those who identify as "male" have gray ponytails

3) That those who identify as "female" knit at political gatherings

4) That he/she/it drives a Prius...or a 40 year old VW microbus

5) That he/she/it is *absolutely* not stupid

6) That he/she/it is *utterly* amoral.

For proof just study Bernie's personal life history.Given that history Vermont was the *perfect* place for him to flourish politically.

I shoot at the box canyon one mile west of Hidden Valley Rd and Century. Place is trashed out from locals, but two weeks ago, I found a pile of dirty clothes, three pairs of carpet slippers, band aids and half used roll of toilet paper neatly piled up next to road in. My guess and Border Patrol agreed, three smugglers were met there by someone in a SUV and were transported into Phoenix.
AS we know, once they make it to Phoenix, they are home free. Next stop Denver, Kansas City and beyond.
