Donald Trump Says Ivanka and Melania 'Begged' Him to Act More Presidential–But He Doesn't Want To

Donald Trump may be running for president, but that doesn't mean he's suddenly going to start being politically correct.

Speaking to a large crowd of supporters during a rally in Tuscon, Arizona, on Saturday, Trump said that both his wife Melania Trump and his eldest daughter Ivanka Trump "begged" him to start acting more presidential – but he "doesn't want to be."

Despite the large turnout for his Tuscon event, the rally was met with disruptions from protesters. The new wave of anti-Trump protesters has increased over the past few weeks, culminating in the former reality star canceling a rally in Chicago, citing safety issues. In fact, earlier in the day, at a rally near Phoenix, protesters briefly shut down a road to the event, reportedly stopping traffic for an hour.

Meanwhile, Trump likely has other things on his mind. The current GOP front-runner is eyeing two big primary contests on Tuesday – Arizona, which has 85 delegates, and Utah, which has 37. Trump currently leads the pack of nominees with a total of 678 delegates (he needs 1,237 to secure the nomination) with Sen. Ted Cruz in second place with 423 delegates. On the personal side, Ivanka is currently expecting her third child any day now.

Arizona, which has 85 delegates, and Utah, which has 37.

I thought Arizona had 58 and Utah had 40
Must be that common core math

When he becomes president any way he acts will be by definition “presidential”. The people crave his “genuineness” we don’t need a Romneybot or a Bushbot... , I have no problem believing that he will act with diplomacy when the time comes.

He should listen to them—but not be dull. He is having too much fun.

There is a disconnect here:

One can act more Presidential and still be non-PC...

Of course, if acting non-presidential is just a schtick to keep himself in the 24/7 news cycle...

Nay...impossible !!!

I’m sure Trump knows the proper way to act depending on the situation. Naturally he wouldn’t act brash in church and I assume it’s safe to say he acted properly when he attended Billy Graham’s 95th birthday. Just another article about nothing.

So Reagan was “PC”?

He didn't have to be, he could communicate cogent political points with great articulation people understood...

Reagan was a statesman, not an entertainer keeping himself in the news cycle 24/7...

So which is it: Trump is lying about what his daughter and wife said, or you know more about how Trump should behave than his wife and daughter?

Donald Trump Says Ivanka and Melania 'Begged' Him to Act More Presidential–But He Doesn't Want To

And at the end of the day a lot of people are going to look at him and decide they don't want a clown in the White House and will vote against him.

So even Trump’s daughter and wife think he does not act in a presidential manner, but Trump supporters on FR will blast anyone here who says that.

“And at the end of the day a lot of people are going to look at him and decide they don’t want a clown in the White House and will vote against him. “

The last time some junior Senator who was a Harvard lawyer with a questionable citizenship talked “presidential” we got Obama. Different party, same attitude.

You will have a problem with it if you manage to nominate him.

First of all, Trump cannot win a general election when over a third of Republicans actively despise him. I’m not talking dislike a little, but really despise.

Our candidate will need full blown conservative and Republican support. Trump won’t have it.

Some people may vote for him to keep Hillary out but too many just won’t vote.

His genuineness is simply a crude, undisciplined person who has never been sent to the corner and told to grow up.

But dont worry, Ted Cruz, whom most Republicans dont support nor voted for, will totally beat all, because Mormon prophesy said so.

I do not care whether Trump acts Presidential. What I care about is how he manages the country.

I know about Ted and Heidi Cruz.

Sen.Ted Cruz and Heidi Cruz are not honest and neither of them are conservatives. They are Globalists who despise the concept of self-government as both support the North American Union (NAU) which will destroy the United States.

The establishment of the NAU, which would destroy the sovereignty of the United States as a nation, would eliminate all our rights. Notice the Globalists NEVER mention voting for it? That is because they intend to impose it, and we’ll have no more God-given rights than serfs did in 10th century Europe.

Wake-up! Look at what the life-long career of Cruz has been, mostly as a member of the Bush family cabal. Do not listen to what he says; study what he has actually done. He is no Patriot.
