[history]
Clinton won in Arizona, maintaining a lopsided advantage over Bernie Sanders in the Democratic race despite his convincing wins in Utah and Idaho on Tuesday night. Trump and Cruz split the previous night's two GOP contests, the billionaire taking Arizona and the Texas senator winning Utah.

Who is bringing Reagan democrats to the party Trump or Cruz? Well, duh! That's exactly my point. The monolithic Trump plurality is built upon non-Republicans.
Reading comprehension appears to be difficult for you Trumpboners.

My fear is that none of the actual candidates walks out of the convention as our nominee
I think that's actually the plan.
But, I'd have to ask mitt Romney, and paul-ryan-boehner first...

“DC Beltway politics as usual.”
Exactly. It is politics as usual if Ted wins. The corupt status quo will continue.

Ted Cruz is in bed with the establishment and the bidding of the establishment he will do.
Anyone who thinks that this man will deport illegals, build the wall, and enforce our border laws is delusional.
The first time one of the Bushes cautions him against doing these things, Cruz will roll over like a fat seal.

In order to beat Hillary you need to bring the Reagan Democrats on board. You need a broad coalition. I don’t see why that is so hard to understand. One must be blind to not see what is going on.

Good analysis, however consider that if somehow Trump falls shy of 1237 it isn't going to be by much. Let's say he's as much as 100 delegates short going into the convention. Does anyone believe the man who wrote
The Art of the Deal would not be able to rustle up 100 "uncommitted" delegates to put him over the top on the first ballot? One can almost imagine Trump relishing the prospect of stealing things right under the RNC's noses.
Cruz is going to be hundreds short of 1237 no matter what, so there's little chance he can assemble a first-ballot coalition, especially since he's been so demonstrably unsuccessful in working with his Senate colleagues to date.
I still think Trump will arrive in Cleveland with the required majority to avoid any drama, but something to think about. Cruz is letting himself be used by the RNC under the mistaken assumption that they'll reward him when in fact he'll be tossed aside as easily as used dishwater by the GOPe. All he's really doing at this point is cutting himself out of any consideration for a role in the incoming Trump administration.

It is Donald Trump who is a total fraud and is such a repulsive character that even old Cankles Clinton would easily beat him. You got it backwards FRiend, the Elmer Gantry act won't work in the general. He was even a blip on the radar in FL and Ohio. Think he will have a chance in MI, NY, CA?

“They are too embarrassed to admit they made a mistake.”
Some of them are even more than embarrassed. They’re lashing out in anger at anyone who cares to point out that their emperor has no clothes.

He offered jeb a job in his administration for the endorsement. He said so in his statement.
