Last month we covered the new rules in Charlotte, North Carolina which would force businesses and public facilities to open their bathrooms, locker rooms and showers to anyone based on the gender they “identify as” rather than their natural chromosomal structure.
At the time, Governor Pat McCrory indicated that moving forward with such a plan to please the Social Justice Warriors would result in action by the state government. Well, that day arrived rather quickly. (Washington Post)
The North Carolina legislature on Wednesday passed a sweeping bill overturning gay and transgender protections at the local level and requiring students to use public restrooms that correspond to their biological sex.
Gov. Pat McCrory, a former Charlotte mayor, signed the bill hours later, according to the Associated Press.
State lawmakers pushed the measure in response to a nondiscrimination ordinance adopted in the city of Charlotte that, among other things, allowed people to use the bathroom that matched with their gender identity.
Legislators said immediate action was necessary to protect children and women from sexual predators who might pose as transgender to gain access to women’s restrooms.

Wow. A brief ray of sanity; enjoy it before some crazy Federal District Court judge strikes it down.
Maybe I should self-identify as an empty beer stein, and demand that the government pour beer into me. Good beer, like Hofbrau or Warsteiner.
Science has shown that there are two sexes, distinguishable on the level of chromosomes. Reproduction is done with the cooperation of one of each. This is a clear and visible fact.
Where it says in the bible “Male and female he created them..”
is a statement of fact, a reflection of the reality of the world.
Anyone who disputes this is mentally deficient.

Identify as a parrot for all I care, but if you have something dangling between your legs, use the mens restroom.
If some mentally ill man has gone so far as to have his manhood removed, then I have no problem with him using the ladies restroom.
Someone start a stop watch. Let’s see how long it takes a major corporation to threaten to leave the state and fit the legislature to fold.
It’s the old Bill Buckley scenario: the left claims to be open-minded and tolerant of opposing views but become red-faced with anger when they discover that opposing views exist.
As the lead post notes, they pushed and society pushed back harder. This outraged them because pressing the red button on their do-gooder feel-good machine failed to deliver the goods.
I can’t believe we have to debate such an issue as bathrooms and locker room access.
This world is going crazy in some ways, isn’t it?
Reminds me a bit of an elderly aunt of mine, now deceased. She had criticized conservatives years ago, for overreacting about issues such as women’s rights and gay rights.
And she said that she heard someone say conservatives were concerned about unisex toilets, and how absurd that is, how the heck would that ever happen, etc. How crazy were the conservatives, she said, to think that we would ever reach such a point.
Well, I think she would be shocked at how the world has changed, and now we are indeed being compelled to talk about unisex toilets. And if liberals get their way, we will see some liberal judge declare a constitutional right for men to go in the women’s locker room, and vice versa.
I keep telling my son to identify as a black female on his college applications.

And how can these people be “further injured” by legislation which simply maintains the status quo???
These people, trans activists and their liberal enablers, are just nuts in the head about this. Absolutely nuts.
Except that if a person “chooses†a gender that isn’t compatible with their sex then they can’t or won’t procreate which is the purpose of sex.

The American Psychiatric Association will soon have their say in that.
Further proves that they just don't care about what happens.
I would like to tell those unhinged folk to think twice before taking to their dresses, make up and jewels and prancing up with their schlongs in their hands to ladies rooms or before going up to urinals, pulling down their girdles in front of the guys!
