This sex grenade detonated early. The plan was for him to be the nominee, and for all his cheating to come out in October.
The enquirer didn’t come up with this story in 36 hours. Cruz knew it was coming and had the Melania attack launched to try to muddy the water just before so he could try to claim the enquirer story was a retaliation.
But he’s toast. The only question is when.
And Glenn Beck “The Blaze” endorsed Cruz so does that mean that Cruz is the next ‘King’ to rule the earth? Where’s that common sense?

With all this bad vibe in the air I am leaning towards voting for Bernie Sanders’ brother—The Colonel. That may sound like I am being chicken and I know he is dead. But if dead people can vote I can vote for dead people. So there.

financial/political scandal only, nothing sexist or sexual.

Cruz’s sex scandal allegations have been whispered since at least February. They became publicly discussed and broadcast as early as March 15. Although Ted had a cushy predicted win in Utah, they knew the tabloids were working the scandal story for a quick release.
Someone assisting team~Cruz launched a preemptive strike. They decided that the eve of the Utah election would be the ripe time for hitting Trump’s wife. They uploaded a racy model GQ photo shoot pic of her from 16 years ago. Then they added their campaign message and sent it to their likely voters.
While it was designed to soften the blow for Ted’s alleged sex scandal stories, he likely did hook thousands of additional Mormon voters. IMO, The initial operation seemed a ‘two-fer’ for team~Cruz. TeamCruzer-loser scoured the globe to find that photo, they are responsible.
Then when DJT responds with a warning, he is attacked by Ted. Such a sanctimonious sniveling loser of a candidate who is forced to hijack delegates he fails to earn for himself.
Cruz gave his word, made a pledge, regardless of personal feelings. If he was truly fighting for America and the people he would put aside his personal feelings for the good of his party and defeat Hillary no matter who is the nominee. It just shows me it’s all about him, and nothing else.

Poor Ted! I just can't believe that all of this is happening to him.
As is being twice divorced, and filing for bankruptcy four times.
I think at this point, that the sooner both move on...the better.
If Trump had brought up the Heidi police report or something I’d agree that could be considered an attack, but to point out the record of a woman who says she is running with Ted is fair and square.

Way I heard it is Rubios campaign had the info first, and that multiple reporters have had knowledge of the story for months. They were told by the higher-up to sit on the story until given the green light. It appears the NE scooped them. That was the word one reporter used, “scooped”, as in he was one who had been scooped.

It was discussed at polls March 15.
When I researched this, I found more than one reference on line and an audio interview. The interviewee stated that inquiring phone calls were being generated from the tabloids, asking questions about rumors. At the time I thought the reference was to only one alleged mistress. Not five. And the word alleged was used many times. Believe me, Cruz has known it would not go away.
