This can’t be. I was assured by none other than Blen Gleck that Cruz was The Anointed One.

Tomorrow will be interesting, IF, the ‘Thing’ rumors are true.

If he doesn’t sue, it will be because he knows he can’t win against the NE. The NE has years of practice in smashing down slander lawsuits. They know how to write articles just so to make such lawsuits against them beatable. If they didn’t they would have gone broke years ago considering how much of what they publish is BS or questionable.

Maybe he can’t sue cause he doesn’t know any lawyers?

I don’t know which is worse - the mistresses or cynically using his own scandal to try to attack a rival.

Isn’t Roger Stone known as “Ratf*cker”?

For good reason, it seems.

Well, Cruz is a politician and that means he is probably guilty of every vice known to man all performed at taxpayer expense.

I have to be honest. The original NE story was written in a way that it did not directly accuse Cruz. It said others are looking into this and he “May”have done certain things. A lot of weasel language that is hard to sue over.

If the allegations turn out to be true, I can hear Ted and his mistresses quoting Psalm 23:

Mistresses: "Thy rod"
Cruz: "and *my* staff"
Together: "...they comfort me" (laughter)

Ted Cruz literally lifted a movie line from The American President (and almost screws up the line).

Roger Stone was part of the Trump Campaign and is known as being a political hitman. Good source there.

According to Cruz, everyone is a friend of Trump. Trump already said he had nothing to do with National Enquirer and he himself has been published in that rag years ago. This is a crude attempt for Cruz to try to smear Trump.

Trump for President.

In older campaign news:

“… as Carson overtakes Trump as the GOP front-runner, it appears Trump is getting help from a media outlet known for ending presidential candidacies: the National Enquirer. Earlier this month, the Enquirer published a cover story on Carson headlined “Bungling Surgeon Ben Carson Left Sponge in Patient’s Brain!” The article called Carson a “White House wannabe” and claimed he “brandished a scalpel like a meat cleaver!”

…Trump and Enquirer CEO David Pecker have been friends for years. “They’re very close,” said a source close to the Enquirer.

This person also said that Trump’s campaign was a source for the article: “His campaign provided information that was used,” he explained. A Trump friend said that in the days leading up to the article’s publication Trump was telling people that Carson “had a lot of medical malpractice suits” and “almost killed a guy.”

Trump’s spokesperson, Hope Hicks, told me “there’s absolutely no truth” to the claim Trump was behind the article. When I asked the Enquirer for comment, Pecker said it was “utterly false” that the Trump campaign was their source.

Wasn’t Roger Stone the campaign manager for Al Sharpton’s 2004 presidential run?
