Yes, totally bad strategy -- a child hiding behind his Mommy. Damn it, Cruz, man up! Did you do it or didn't you? Cruz is toast. He's a religious hypocrite like Jimmie Swaggert. But unlike Swaggert, he doesn't have the charm to confess and to show his human side. Wisconsin voters are not going to choose a Lyin' wimp for their president. |

If you posed that question to me, Id ask you the same question. What gives a reporter the moral imperative to pry into someone elses morality? An allegation from the National Enquirer?
Cruz made it a story with his false narrative about it being "TRUMP TRUMP TRUMP" behind it. And considering that Saint Ted set himself up as some sort of superior moral being, you better believe the reporter has a journalistic imperative to ask those questions.

The big difference is that Ted waves the Bible at this voter meetings and puts himself out there as a devoted Christian. If you're Hillary or Bill Clinton, everybody knows you're a sleaze bag. But for a guy who tells us he's the champion of Evangelicals and his side-kick Beck equates him to the second coming of Christ, it's news when the tabloid that outed John Edwards and Gary Hart claims you are not what you say you are. |

And, in you mind, “devoted Christians” don’t sin, right?

I’m quite sure Trump had nothing whatsoever to do with the article. The fact that the Enquirer is firmly behind Trump and that he and David Pecker have been friends for years is merely a coincidence. That’s just not how Trump rolls... /s/

It has already been established that it was the Rubio camp trying to shop the story around. And Cruz’ former slutty communications director didn’t help any with all of her puppy love tweets to Cruz that she’s been busy trying to delete.
Cruz is goin’ down. Face it.

And, in your mind, devoted Christians dont sin, right?
Oh all Christians sin, God's Word states clearly "all have sinner and fallen short of the Glory of God" but as poconopundit has already pointed out, when someone sets themselves up as an evangelical crusader like Cruz and his minions have done, they better be damn sure there aren't any skeletons in those closets or conference rooms that are going to come out to play at some future point.
In Iowa, Cruz was all about "put on the full armor of God" and "raise up the Body of Christ", but then he got to New Hampshire and he dumped all that holy roller talk, and guess what?
He lost New Hampshire.
THEN in South Carolina where everyone was SURE that Cruz would score a big victory because after all, South Carolina was supposed to be one of the biggest evangelical jackpots in the primary process, Cruz didn't win ONE county! Trump won them all with the exception of 3 counties that went for Rubio.
Have you and all the other Cruz fans considered that perhaps God was smiting Cruz for playing fast and loose with His Name and using Christ as a campaign prop?
I wouldn't rule it out.

Is Carly going to be in lock step with Ted from here on in? Is she going to be his body guard?

You might want to read some of my earlier posts; neither one of them is a saint. I’ve defended Trump more than I have Ted Cruz. I think they’re both idiots for engaging in this stupid name-calling, acting like teenage girls and playing into the hands of the GOPe. In a brokered convention, neither Trump nor Cruz will come out on top.

>>but also blaming Trump with no proof all the time reminded me of Obama blaming Bush all the time.<<
Can't believe I just read that. The “rumors” of Ted Cruz having doinked five mistresses is...well, simply rumor during a primary election cycle for one purpose and one alone, stain Ted Cruz's reputation.
Even if Ted Cruz had had an affair, suppose he and Heidi dealt with the hardships in their marriage and healed.
Would this have been any of OUR business? I say no. Millions of families go through things like this and heal, move on together. My understanding, so has Donald Trump.
The world's on fire, global economic downturn before our eyes, millions out of work, muzzie radicals crouched for attack and the media regurgitates personal attacks at nausium.
This whole thing is just dirty rotten smear. Plain and simple.

Don’t know the answer, but it seems to be along the same lines as Cruz hitting Trump for ‘New York Values’.

I'm thinking, just like millions of people throughout history making a mistake, listened to the prompting of the Holy Spirit, repented, came together with his wife seeking forgiveness and healed the marriage.
Would this not be as plausible as the smear we now see from the mostly “liberal” media?
Seriously, if at all true and we don't even know that it is, would YOU want to talk about something deeply personal/private between you, your god and your wife?
To: deport
Not yet.
The alphabets are going bonkers over Lewandowksi getting ARRESTED for basically nothing.
Gotta support the narrative that Republicans hate women.

No, I would not want to talk about these things between me, my wife, and my God. It would be one of the hardest things to do. And yes, it may indeed take the couple a while for the Cruz family to sort out what they are doing to do about this. Heidi leaving the campaign trail in NJ/NY is perhaps indicative of that. The redirecting of arrows to Trump's back is not going to work forever. In the end, Cruz must confront the issue alone, hopefully with his wife at his side. Either confess or sue the bastards. |
