Just some more “reasoning” like Trump.

Can’t do it Ted. You’re not eligible, you’re a fraud and a cheat, you look like Grandpa Munster, and you sound like a mix between a televangelist and a sleazy trial lawyer.

The Constitution says Cruz is not eligible.

Look at how Cruz supporters here on FR treat Trump supporters.

Cruz called Trump supporters low information.

Cruz backtracked and said he may not be able to support Trump if Trump is the nominee.

Cruz has lied on Trump on multiple occasions. he’s untrustworthy.

Cruz is bought and paid for by the GOPe and wall Street.

Cruz cheated other candidates out of votes using various deceptive means.

Cruz didn’t support the right for Trump and his supporters to assemble in a peaceful manner in Chicago. Instead, he blamed Trump for disruptions.

Cruz treats his wife horribly. Did Cruz go looking for Heidi or call authorities when she left the house that evening in Texas and was found with her head in her hands off the side of a road? I don’t know. By the grace of God, it was a passerby who called the police. That call might have saved her life. Heidi’s depression could have come from Cruz possibly engaging multiple affairs.

Cruz allowed Fiorina to answer for him concerning if he was faithful to his wife.

Cruz is a arrogant hypocrite.

Shall I go on?...

Reposting from last week:

Cruz must be asked if he believes that the party establishment will back him if he forces a floor fight.

If he says he does believe the party will support his second round bid, then he's fooling himself. They will use him to stop Trump and then cast him aside for their own self-interests.

This is politics, and the only thing that Cruz can count on is what he directly controls, and he does NOT control what the GOPe will do in round two no matter what they promise. They will turn on him before the echo of the round one closing gavel subsides.

If Cruz really thinks it is important to stop the Mcconnell lying wing of the Republican party, then his best bet now is to align with Trump and declare his delegate support for Trump.

If Cruz does this now, 1) he will instantly become the darling of the outsider movement, and 2) he will drastically change the current narrative of stopping Trump with a brokered convention. That story would become dead overnight instead of lingering on until July. The story will become the GOPe naked power grab, and they will lose control of that story quickly.

It's time for Cruz to have his Rubio moment, and step up to do the right thing.

At this point, Cruz cannot win outright, and trusting the GOPe to have his back in a second round vote is a fool's errand.

His best play now is to get out well-played, and support Trump to thwart the GOPe.

How will the RNC stop Trump if Cruz drops out and pledges his delegates for Trump before the first round of convention voting?

Cruz will not get my vote. Whoever gets my vote is between God and me. That really is none of your business.

By telling everyone who will not get your vote you have partially made your voting choice everybody's business and since come election time there will only be three choices, Cruz, Hillary and not voting, and that not voting for Cruz is a de facto vote for Hillary, one can quickly deduce that you're voting for Hillary which actually turns out rather nicely for you military people since she's more likely to get us into a shooting war than Cruz is.

“That’s ok. Hillary should make for a great President.”

So do a lot of people in the GOP. Even Ted Cruz declines to state whether or not he will suppoet Trump.

Crystal clear. I am just reading comments and refraining from getting into more pointless ‘discussions’ with the blind sheep.

They all must want amnesty, because that is exactly what’s at stake and where this is headed.

You like Trump, I like Trump.

I will vote for Cruz if I have to. Better than Kasich! Better than Jeb! Better than Hillary!

Not sure he’s better than Bernie. If Bernie gets the nod, by golly I’m quitting my job and I’ll go on the dole. I’m tired of being the hard working taxpayer. Tired of being the giver instead of the taker. Just have to wait and see what happens I suppose.

I find it interesting that military people can be on this site as much as she is. Sure wasn't the military I was in.

As for Cruz being stupid. No. He is brilliant, perhaps the smartest person I have ever met in politics, and I’ve talked extensively with more than half of the current and recent US Senators and most of the recent republican presidential candidates. All for being used? Yes. He thinks he can turn it around on the establishment once he gets to the convention with enough pledged delegates. Perhaps this year he’s right and the establishment will lose control even beyond the first round of voting, but I doubt it. That’s why I am supporting Trump; he’s the only candidate who has a real chance to win on the first ballot.

I agree with a lot of what you said. For me it's not about the bimbi. Cruz may be a "consistent conservative" but he's shown himself to be a world-class weasel. His campaign manager (and the fact he's still employed) disqualifies Cruz from the office, IMO.

Yet JimRob said something I'm still chewing over. Our ancestors gave their lives to keep us free. All we're being asked to do is pull the lever for someone who's not a RAT, however distasteful we may find it. I think I can vote for Cruz, although I may not be a supporter.

Then again...I'm not insane. Holding our noses and voting for the lesser of two evils gave us...evil. I'll no longer be put in a no-win situation by the GOPee. The games and lies end here. I have no confidence Cruz would win if nominated; if he somehow did I believe he would be ineffective, impotent. We've learned that messages sent are unheard, so it would be SSDD.
