“You won’t vote for someone with a 100% conservative rating from Heritage?”

Would that be the Heritage Foundation? The one founded and run by Phyllis Schlafly,,who has endorsed Trump?

Might wanna take a big deep breath there friend.

While I am in the Trump I would support Cruz in the general. But he’s the only other Republican nominee I would. And that would be conditioned on just how he got the nomination.

Cruz vs Hillary = holding nose and voting. Cruz vs Bernie = staying home and expecting tree of liberty getting watered sooner.

Don't worry Ted first GOPe will not let you be the nominee

Second , You insulted Trump voter by calling them low information voters

Think , again. I saw a Poll yesterday, where you were third in Wisconsin and New York, out a a three person race? >p> Add You came in third with less than 20% of the vote in Ohio, Florida and Virginia.

Do the right thing and quit

The GOP cannot win an election when the supporters of the candidates with the top 2 delegate counts will not vote for the other.

So true. Many who claim to be conservative/libertarian will help the true enemy in the general election ... yet again. And here in FR-land, most of those will spend the next 3+ years whining about the liberal-fascist they helped put in power.

Not happening. He's not eligible.

Rationalize it however you feel the need to, but Cruz is a naturalized citizen: he was born in Canada(!) to a father who wasn't an American citizen when Ted was born.

Therefore, voting for Cruz for POTUS is, by definition, not upholding and defending the Constitution.

D'oh!

Of course not. It's been the plan all along!

Bill Clinton needed Ross Perot to win. Now that Hillary is running, the Clintons were using the same tactic. Only this time, because of the popular revolt in the base of the GOP, Trump can actually win the nomination (rather than just play 3rd party spoiler as intended), and has too much ego to sabotage his own campaign now that he thinks he can win. But when he doesn't win at a contested convention, his supporters will pull out and go write-in or 3rd party, and Hillary will have her win, just like she intended from the beginning. It's all going according to plan again...

Ditto.

If Trump’s ahead in delegates and they ditch their only shot at winning (Trump) for some GOP-e stooge or the bogus preacher, I will not support them. EVER.

Hell, after Trump I might not support them again EVER anyway, just because the GOP is the cesspool that spawned the likes of Romney, Cruz and that strange scary creature known as Bush (take your pick which one I mean).

Once again the Republicans do the “We’re not as bad as the Democrats” strategy.

So BFAC, you have said at least 3 times he wont get your vote. Then why don’t you go over to DU and campaign for Hillary. Be careful what you keep saying on FR....you may get libbyloued!

It’s not the Trump supporters you need. The RNC will use the same line on Cruz as they are using on Trump. 65% of GOP voters rejected Cruz, blah, blah....

The only way Trump doesn’t get the 1237 delegates is by GOPe treachery.

If Ted thinks I’m rewarding that, he is even more of an idiot than I thought. And I think he’s a first class idiot.

the good thing about Trump supporters is- we can write. Give me a line and I will write in “Trump”.

Absolutely. And we would just be following the advice of Cruz endorser Mitt Romney to write in our preferred candidate. If Romney is good enough for Cruz he should be good enough for Trumpers.

Not mine. He was fine, up until Beck and his supporters went nuts. Now, he loses my vote.

Did Jim change the policy on Free Republic of kicking people off who refused to vote against Hillary?

It’s a moot question. Ted Cruz is the worst national candidate in generations and will never be POTUS.
