I went to a Bush rally in 2000 too and I agree. If this is what constitutes assault I could have have a lot of people arrested. It is her job to ask questions and try to get close to her subjects But it also goes with the territory, you are going to be working against the flow and people are going to o be pushing and touching. What is telling to me, is how she went to the media playing the victim. As a professional if she felt this was something more she should have went to the Trump people and try to resolve with a simple apology. Instead she went the scorched earth media route.

It doesn’t matter, does it? It will drag out long after this race is over. The whole thing boils down to how the campaign handled it.
Their first instinct was not to apologize, but to attack the female reporter by calling her a liar, attention seeker, and delusional.
It just plays into the bigger picture on how Trump treats women.
That is why Trump has a 70% disapproval rating with women. This won’t help.
Ted's issues with carrying a Bible in one hand and a few mistresses in the other will not result in him overcoming Trump's dominance in this race. The Lewindowski issue is a nothingburger but Ted's inability to carry Glenn Beck's holy water is a big problem.
