As long as there are no tariffs to counterbalance the dumping of textiles in the USA, how does a clothing marketer put a product on the shelf that competes?

That is the issue, and that is why our textile plants all went overseas.

if you vote for cruz then all you are doing is helping the establishment get their contested convention and yet cruz was supposed to be against the establishment.

What the heck do you think a 45% tariff on imports will do?

Are the retailers going to eat it? Of course not.

Up goes the prices on just about everything...

I thought we were free market capitalists... Since when did that become a bad thing?

So if you take a loan out against your 401k, does that mean you are beholden to scratch the bank’s back at some point?

Give me a break. Take the tin foil hat off for just a minute and critically examine what you are postulating.

Or how about the hundreds of millions he has borrowed for George Soros...

What will Soros demand of Trump...?

A vote for Cruz is a vote for for someone I believe in whom has a really good shot of beating Trump.

But, I guess I should be like the cool kids and just vote for the liberal hack whom infatuates so many...

Damn my beliefs and principles, at least at the end of the day I can say: “I voted for the winner.”

Um. No.

Um no, we do not import EVERYTHING.

Mote tariffs less income tax. Like the founders intended. Get used to it bub.

Trump is going to win in landslide because 75% of the USA, i.e. the middle class, has no political representation. Nobody speaks for them, not the Feds, not congress, not the MSM or free trading fat talk show hosts.

I was wondering when my silver spoon east coast leftwing morally bankrupt spokesperson was going to get here. Finally! Somebody who can relate to Joe Sixpack!

Cruz has blown his chances for the Presidential nod now and on the future. What a stupid prick he is.

Ted's problem is, he is too incompetent to declare that special loan on FEC filings... Or else Ted decided he could get another loan to pay the fines for non-disclosure..

What the heck do you think a 45% tariff on imports will do?

This 45% tariff is a straw man argument.

Trump was asked by a reporter about his trade plan. After explaining that to the reporter the he, Trump, was for "smart trade" or "fair trade" the reporter asked if Trump would favor a 45% tariff on goods imported from China. Trump answered with his usual, "if they don't play fairly" response.

The "Trump wants a 45% tariff" meme was thus born. I watched that interview after one of his rallies early on. To my knowledge Trump has never explicitly called for a 45% tariff on goods imported from China. If you know that he has, please produce some proof.

There is no mention of a tariff on Trump's official position on trade with China.

GS has now provided Cruz a favor, now he owes them a favor.

I paid off my student loans decades ago, but last week they made me help them get rid of a body. These banks have long memories and I did owe them a solid.

You have to start somewhere. Trump represents political jihad. He is an imperfect weapon to destroy a rigged political/media system. Perfect.

When you rebuild on an existing commercial site you first raze the current structure. Trump is the bulldozer,

so cruz can beat Trump and a vote for him is a vote against Trump

Weird I thought the point was to vote in order to beat the left, but then again you can tell me how cruz can get enough delegates before the convention, or are you wanting the establishments convention which will be contested ?

Now you keep repeating the same tired talking points. Cruz is better to beat Clinton, OK then shall we look at the swing states which determine the outcome .

VA cruz came third
Trump came first

FL Trump came first
cruz came third

OH Trump came second
cruz came third.

Weird Cruz keeps coming third in the most important swing states.

Ok well how did cruz do in those swing states, oh wait he never won a single county in VA and FL , not one frigging single county.
I’m in FL and there is no way cruz would win this must win state against Clinton.

OK who has the most votes, oh that would be Trump by over 2 million.

Well who has more states, oh that would be Trump with nearly 3 times as many.

OK there has ot be a silver lining for cruz somewhere.
Maybe cruz is bringing in more voters , oh no wait that is Trump again....

cruz has not got a hell in chance of beating Clinton and you know it , unless you wrap yourself in the talking points of a man who can’t even answer if he has cheated on his wife and the man who said this.

.“Let me encourage other members of the establishment: Keep supporting Donald Trump because every time you do it, what it is doing is telling conservatives all over the country is where you stand and who stands with you”.
- Ted Cruz, New Hampshire stump speech.

Now he is part of the establishment and so are you if you vote for cruz. whether you like it or not

So you for one welcome our new globalist masters, eh. You enjoy seeing the country over run my third worlders. You’d be happy to trade our constitutional republic for a North American Union. I can see why you’d vote Cruz over Trump.

Remember a time when cruz voters and I was one used ot say cruz for me because he is not the establishment and we need a clean sweep in the GOP?

Now cruz has joined the establishment and it means a vote for cruz is a vote for the establishment plain and simple even a cruz voter can understand that.

Trump doesn’t have to worry...Reid, Pelosi, Schumer, and Hillary have his back. As he said, he helped get these folks elected to do his bidding.

Price increases have to do with the Fed’s inflationary agenda.

Mechanization has supplanted manufacturing jobs just like it did with agriculture in the 19th Century. The jobs aren’t coming back unless you want to lower living standards.

People need to learn trades and other useful skill sets, but D.C. rather dumb down education to have captive voters.
