I’m aware that for prosperity to occur, we cannot operate Ina vacuum.

If we do not secure our borders and deport those here illegally we will not have a country. It is really that simple. Vote for Trump or hand the country over to the anti-American globalists that wish to create a socialist utopia. Your choice.

BWT a socialist utopia is only a utopia the 1%, the rest of us are slaves/serfs. In fact serfs in the middle ages were probably better off then we will be under a globalist oligarchy. Just image North America as one big Mexico.

Detroit is in shambles, because it produced a terrible work product and let Unions force GM and others to pay a low skilled assembly line worker, as much as a medical doctor. Imposing huge tariffs on imported goods, may let a few auto workers go back to the days of getting huge paychecks for repetitive manual labor, but the rest of us would see the prices of everything from cars, to cell phones go through the roof. And that is before other countries retaliate with their own tariffs. These people that believe Trump can simply enact extreme protectionist policies without effecting prices or our ability to export goods are amazing. Standing up to countries that block American imports is one thing. Using the police power of the state to punish free Americans who open up a factory in another country is another. A vote for Trump is a vote for two things. 1. Hillary and 2. Insanity.

True,

We accuse the Chinese of currency manipulation, as if we hadn’t been doing the same thing for the last 8 years.

You are aware that Cruz took out a commercially available bank loan with Goldman Sachs. If you have a mortgage with Bank of America, does that mean you are on their pay role?

Trump proves you don’t have to be a lawyer to say sleazy things on a daily basis.

Competition lowers prices, but a business can not lower it’s prices below it’s cost. Companies are often forced to choose between moving to Mexico for cheaper labor, or paying inflated union wages and watch their market share get taken over by cheaper foreign goods. Most companies that move an operation to Mexico, only do so after they have resisted the upward pressure on their prices created by high wage demands and excessive government regulations for as long as they could.

Trump is going to start having the Rwandan teenagers he imported to work at his club in Florida, make his clothing line on their breaks.

You need to update you preconceptions. Unions only represent 10% of manufacturing workers now.

I'm not really sure I follow your reasoning(?) there.

Actually, progressives are for more "free" trade.

Kind of hard to deport those you intend to give a path to citizenship. While Cruz has said many times that no one here illegally should get citizenship, Trump has said we get to “keep the good ones”. Trump’s touchback amnesty is same as the bull that the DUmocrats are pushing...they have no intention on enforcement, just trading citizenship for votes.

And where are those jobs concentrated. In what little manufacturing sector we have left. We would have a lot more jobs if unions hadn’t killed the steel industry among others. However, even if Unions die off all together, I still have no interest in paying 45% more for goods and services to benefit some factory worker in a state I don’t live in. It is in my family’s best interest to allow competition drive down the price of consumer goods as much as is possible.

And where are those jobs concentrated.

The stats come from the BLS and only 10% of manufacturing workers are in a union. So I don't know what you man by concentration.

Do you know what the industry average cost of labor per dollar of retail price? How can you throw out statistics like that without any research. It is a crook of crap you are sweeping . Learn how to debate.

Cruz has said many times that no one here illegally should get citizenship

There is no procedure to "keep the good ones". So that is a Red Herring. Trump has communicated a willingness to enforce existing laws which is exactly what needs to be done. Cruz has wandered all over the place on immigration and his "no pathway to citizenship" is either a cynical bate and switch or he is dumber than a box of rocks if he doesn't think the Rats or the courts would not reserve that at the first opportunity.

If you want to keep the USA the USA vote Trump, if you want to give the country away to the globalists vote Cruz. It is a simple as that.

Unless I am reading the tea leaves wrong to be a “movement conservative” means ditching all antiquated notions of patriotism and nationalism.

Less tariffs, less income tax, less government, like the founders intended.

The Founders imposed tariffs and the United States grew to a world dominating industrial giant behind high tariff walls.

Like the Obama drones, the Trumptards hear what they want regardless of the number of times he repeatedly said he would give amnesty for illegals:

http://www.breitbart.com/video/2015/08/17/trump-ill-try-to-bring-back-good-illegal-immigrants-rapidly/

Cruz’s “all over the place” approach is seal borders, enforcement of existing laws banning employment if illegals, stopping VISA overstays, and letting border patrol and ICE do their jobs:

https://www.tedcruz.org/cruz-immigration-plan/

I’ll take the NO AMNESTY for illegals candisate over the orange-tinted clown who imports more cheap labor and exports manufacturing to Mexican and Chinese sweat shops and says expedited return of the “good” law breakers is his plan.

Without tariffs the USA would have missed the industrial revolution. The consequences of which would be enormous. Without the USA's industrial might Hitler's Germany would rule have the Europe and the middle east and Imperial Japan both Asia and Australia..

An American who opens a factory in another country is a traitor and I'd go a lot further than Trump in punishing that brand of treason.

When Great Britain was a world industrial power they hanged businessmen who sold industrial techniques and machinery to foreigners.
