Trump’s previous attacks on PC were artful. This one is un artful.

Well, abortion at its core, is very ugly for mankind. And no, I'm not sorry that it hurts your sensibilities.

> I’m upset at all the people attacking him because he dared to be politically incorrect!

I'm upset because his statement, while truthful, is none the less politically suicidal.

It goes without saying that someone should be punished when doing something illegal, but by repeating the obvious in the manor that he did, he just gave the Dems a whole depot of "Reproductive Rights" ammunition to pile on to the obsurd but pervasive "The Donald hates women" meme, which they have been gleefully drumming into low-information types heads.

I believe that according to current law, if you are coerced into murder, you’re still going to be tried for murder.

Might get a reduced sentence, but ultimately you were the one who pulled the proverbial trigger.

If the abortion is illegal, your point is moot.
If you talk someone into killing someone else, aren’t they still guilty of murder?

Indeed. It was not the smartest thing he could have said. He should have turned the question back around on Matthews and asked why Chris was so interested in the potential punishment of women.

I know Trump has made lots of bump waves but he has ridden them out. I think this one is going to hurt him. Not that it should, but I think it will.

A. Thats irrevalnt, even if he loses in the general elction he has pushed the overton window, We have seen this happened in Swiss where a pro israel “far right” party managed to get 20% of the votes, so what did the other poltical parties, they started to adopt more anti muslim polcies

See this is how you win, you push what is accatbile ,the liberals have done for this decades with the overton window, 20 years ago faggots marryin faggots would not have been in any way accepted.

Why not adopt there tatics and push america back to a moral becaon of the world

Today Poland is far more conservative then America and thats thanks to the law and justice party who pushed “extreme christian values” which are now mainstream. They used the overton window against liberals

See even if trump losses now you can talk in the media about a ban on Muslim immigrants and that’s thanks to trump, now the wall is a mainstream topic featured on the msm while in the past it was relegated to the fringes

Trump is a once in a lifetime candidate, why not take your chances, Ted Cruz is just another Bush a phony, Remember when bush said “islam is a religion of peace”

Trump has said the problem is with Islam, not “radical islam”(there is no radical islam just Islam)

If you have a 10% chance to turn America back to its principles with trump why not take that chance ? You wont get another, you will get another Cruz you wont get another trump

Having Hillary or berinie running things will lead to more abortions.

It is the sensibilities of society that has to be changed.

Banning Muslim immigration was politically suicidal as well, and we saw how that turned out.

Let’s see how this works out.

Funny. You embody and express every single thought that makes me think of Cruz so lowly.

Translation: "I prefer candidates who emote, spout platitudes, insult and make crude accusations, and am put off by those who stand on principle, understand conservatism, are intelligent and classy."

Understood.

Even a Federal ban would have to be enforced. I can guarantee that the Feds’ Top 100 priority list will have abortion somewhere between 101 and infinity.

Thats not pro life, if you think a person who murders her own unborn baby should not be charged with murder you are not pro life
Life News does not agree (”the pro-life movement has historically opposed punishing women who have abortions — instead focusing on holding abortion practitioners criminally accountable for the unborn children they kill in abortions.”)

It is worth noting. Trump is ok with Planned Parenthood who chop these children up and sell them wholesale as they do other valuable things for women. If justice is the goal then PP should be more culpable than the mother.

Trump never defined what the punishment would be. While personally I believe anyone who willingly gets an abortion should be charged with Murder, I am also realistic to the fact that will not pass. They however should still receive punishment for their act.

The christian nation of San Marino jails women who get abortions and the abortion doctors

Well then pack up your little purse and move. No body is stopping you. In this Country that are ways laws get passed. If you don't like It might I suggest a nice sunny southern Location. I hear Cuba is grand this time of year. Don't let the door hit ya....

Republicans want abortion laws like the immigration laws. On the books but not enforced

It's truly amazing to see so many failing to hear Trump's comments for the clunker they truly are. Anyone with any connection to pro-life work (beyond tapping on a keyboard) knows that "punishing the mother" is a canard from the death dealing abortion industry.

No pro-life group I am aware of has EVER proposed such a thing. Trump has staked out a new and unique position.

If abortion is illegal he says violators should be punished

And you have issue with that?

This is no barry goldwater moment.

We just disagree that the dynamic applies here.

Abortionists always lie, inasmuch as they never say they are killing your baby. They also always inflect harm upon the woman, inasmuch as they bring on miscarriage, a traumatic pregnancy outcome.
